What is your favorite use of audio-animatronics?

Not to worry--I don't think you're the only one. It's usually the snoring that gives people away...lovesdisney44 wrote:Ahhh. . . I remember the Hall of Presidents - my family and I had a nice nap there.

Another neat audioanimatronic that I didn't see mentioned in these posts is Hopper from It's Tough to Be a Bug. It's been a while since I've seen the show, but I was very impressed.

Wow nice to know I am not the only one
I remember years back choosing my place on the boat just so I wouldn't go directly under that filthy thing.. As if stuff was going to fall off of if when I went under :\
Still bugs me today, though not quite as bad

The American Adventure & Pirates! Although, the original Journey was great, too.

I liked Horizon's, also.

LOL Me too!Personally, I'm always a little freaked out by the "hairy leg" in PotC.
Best use of AA's... probably World of Motion actually. I was always impressed by the number of audio animatronics about in there. And the one that always stands out in my mind was the bull blocking the cross-country carriage. Or the train hold-up.

Cheshire Cat, I had forgotten all about the Wicked Witch! THat is a great example of Disney's auto-animatronics. She is sooo real. Thanks for telling us she is your favorite.I really like the Wicked Witch on the GMR. It's really life-like and it interacts with the CMs. When I was younger my parents had trouble convincing me it wasn't real.
I realize that my choice of the old Figment is out-dated. But, that Figment has a special place in my heart.

COP and Tom Morrow are my favorites AA. All though PoC and HM are right up there.

Another vote for that hairy, dirty leg; I always look for it. The Wicked Witch on GMR comes in second for me. If I had seen her as a kid, I would have been terrified; I used to get scared just seeing her on TV.

Of all the AAs in existence, my favorites are those in the American Adventure (Epcot). The figures of Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain are incredibly lifelike. If you've ever seen close-up pictures of them, it's eerie how real they look.
