Ahhh. . . I remember the Hall of Presidents - my family and I had a nice nap there.
Couldn't help it - tried to stay awake, but we were all sooo hot and tired.

Not to worry--I don't think you're the only one. It's usually the snoring that gives people away...
Another neat audioanimatronic that I didn't see mentioned in these posts is Hopper from It's Tough to Be a Bug. It's been a while since I've seen the show, but I was very impressed.

Wow nice to know I am not the only one
I remember years back choosing my place on the boat just so I wouldn't go directly under that filthy thing.. As if stuff was going to fall off of if when I went under :\
Still bugs me today, though not quite as bad

i think Hopper and the witch from the Great Movie Ride are pretty good. I totally agree about Presidents. Great AA but a snoozer.

My favorite is the witch in the Great Movie Ride. The first time I saw her I thought she was a real person, like the CM that starts the ride and switches in either the gangster scene or the Indy scene. I think that witch is very realistic.

Personally, I'm always a little freaked out by the "hairy leg" in PotC.
LOL Me too!
Best use of AA's... probably World of Motion actually. I was always impressed by the number of audio animatronics about in there. And the one that always stands out in my mind was the bull blocking the cross-country carriage. Or the train hold-up.

I really like the Wicked Witch on the GMR. It's really life-like and it interacts with the CMs. When I was younger my parents had trouble convincing me it wasn't real.

COP and Tom Morrow are my favorites AA. All though PoC and HM are right up there.

Another vote for that hairy, dirty leg; I always look for it. The Wicked Witch on GMR comes in second for me. If I had seen her as a kid, I would have been terrified; I used to get scared just seeing her on TV.

Of all the AAs in existence, my favorites are those in the American Adventure (Epcot). The figures of Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain are incredibly lifelike. If you've ever seen close-up pictures of them, it's eerie how real they look.

I would have to say HoP and American Adventure coming in a close second would be PoC.
