Wow. I'm glad that everyone is enjoying them. I'm having fun writing about all of the crazy experiences on my trip. I'll be sad when I finish.
PART 7
I didn't get lost. It turns out the Mint Julep Shop is "hidden" in the very back nearby the New Orleans Train Station. After discovering its hiding place, I hurried back to my family and told them the location of the shop. My mom let me get a Mint Julep, while the rest of my family chose the less risky coffee option. I was a bit nervous to try it, since I had so much pressure on me to like it. (After all, I had been talking about trying it anytime I got the chance.) Just like what you would find in a fast-food restaurant, the Mint Julep dispenser was next to the other soft drinks. "Maybe it isn't as good as I think it will be," I thought. My parents had tried it years ago and hated it, though they aren't as fond as mint as I am. It was given to me in a clear cup with a straw. I took a deep breath and then tried a sip. My opinion of the Mint Julep: Good! The Mint Julep drink is a combination of lime and mint that is quite refreshing. I don't know if it was my determination to like the drink since I had been begging my mom for it all day, the fact that I had been walking around and was thirsty, or that it just was really good, but I enjoyed it a lot. What was nice was that Fantasmic was going on at the same time. Although we were too far in the back to see anything, we could hear it and that was enough. Sitting down at a table drinking beverages while chatting with my family was a great way to wind down and get enough energy to go on more rides! As I got down to the bottom of the drink, I was sad that it was finished already. I started to chew on the ice left at the bottom. (A habit that my parents say is bad for my teeth, but I do it anyway). One of my sisters points something out to me that I didn't realize before. "There is a cherry on the bottom." My eyes open wide. As I wrote before, there are two flavors I love most: mint and cherry. "A CHERRY?!" My mom adds, "Actually, I think there are two." I pretty much am thinking this is the best drink you could ever get in Disneyland by now. (I know, I know, excited over cherries. I'm not hard to please.

) I dug down to the bottom of the cup and savored every bite of my two cherries. By this time, Fantasmic was almost over. We threw away our trash and knew that if we didn't act fast, we would be in a crowd of Fantasmic-watchers trying to go home.
"What will Magique and her family do next? Will they be able to get out of the way before the stampede of exhausted-Fantasmic-watchers comes their way? Will Magique decide to end the tale right now and leave you all pondering what happens next? (Nah, I'm not that mean.

) FIND OUT... when we return."
