Favorite photo spot
Got a favorite place you like to take family photos? One of ours, for instance (and among many) is the Mickey sculpture in the back of the Contemporary resort. The best thing about that spot is the stand for your camera so you can do a self-timed photo if no one is around to snap it for you.
What's your favorite spot?

They're not plexi-gassed off anymore - at least they weren't last year. Is this new?knedeau wrote:I love to get the Castle Anywhere in the Shot! (MK)
I do have a shot somewhere of my sis and I IN THE EARS (before they were plexi-glassed off) of that Mickey sculpture in back of the Contemporary!

That sucks! I mean that really sucks. We took our last shot there in June 2005 - didn't make it over there in December 2005 for a shot though.knedeau wrote:They did when I was there in oct of last year....
It really sucks to hear this!

I'm sure some idiot guest fell out, cracked their head open and sued.
Okay, rant over - but it does suck.
So help me find another really fun place to take photos now the the Mickey sculpture is ruined.

My favorite picture spot would be on those fairy boats on the way to or going from MK, with MK as the subject. Or somewhere near the castle at night, so I can get pictures of it in different colors.

Our traditional photo spot: next to the statue of Walt and Mickey at MK, with the castle in the background. Not very original, but classic.

Well, I called a friend down there - the back of the ears of the Mickey sculpture is plexied (been that way for a while) but the front isn't plexied.
For some reason I had total OCD over this!

Which reminds me - we love to do similar shots when we have early entry into MK, Epcot, or AK when you enter the park before official opening for character breakfasts.CDAbleson wrote:I like getting my kids down at the edge of Liberty Square, first thing in the morning, with HM, Aunt Polly's and the Riverboat ALL in the picture, with no people, and the water reflects like glass........
