Yup--happened to me last night. Wow!
Nice!
When you are eating a fried chicken breast sandwich from The Golden Oak Outpost (former McDonald's fry cart in Frontierland, darn good food too!) and you notice the ranch that dripped from your sandwich kinda made a Mickey.
Picture to come later. For now this will do:

We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

What? He has not been completely indoctrinated into being a Disney theme-park fan yet? Sounds like some heavy brainwashing is gonna be the next step...

Oh he's already come a LONG way. He had never been until he went with my family in 2007. I don't think he really knew what to expect before he went and he said the first day he hated it (though in his defense, my family was moving ridiculously slow that day - it took them two hours to get from the front gate of Epcot to Canada because they kept stopping for water and bathroom breaks

)He liked it much better later on in the week and even better when we went just us after we got married. Now I've got him trained on proper attraction names and such. He's not a crazed fanatic like us, but he is an annual passholder and has taken me 5 (about to be 6) times in the 2.5 years we've been married, so I don't think he's too bad.

Okay, we'll cancel the brainwashing...for now...
As for not having ever been until 2007 - wow! That's like one of my cousins. He had never been to EPCOT until I took him for his 18th birthday. And at that, he had only been to MK once because of a school trip. My uncle and aunt never took him to WDW and they live less than 90 minutes away!

It's a slow process, but I'm corrupting him bit by bit.
I was amazed he had never been, since his family went on a lot of trips and even his mom and grandmother had gone down to WDW on a trip before he was born. I'm not sure why it never occurred to any of them to ever take my husband and his sister.

Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

Sometimes adults can be selfish and have more fun without children at WDW!

Glad you have converted him though

They may have had the same feeling about Disney as my FIL: "Been there, done that."

They actually talk fondly of it like it was a nice trip! And I know people can have that attitude about it, but going to WDW is one of those things you're "supposed to do" when you have kids. Of course I know not everyone can afford it or actually does it, but it just has always seemed surprising to me that they went on so many trips and had visited there previously, but never considered it as a vacation.

With my aunt and uncle, they just don't like the whole WDW. They don't like any theme-parks in general. But is that right to punish the kid (my cousin) because you simply don't like theme-parks?

How sad

My one brother isn't a Disney fan and complained mightily when we first went to visit them in California and
made them go to Disney. I noticed he liked it all right once we were there. The kids complained most of the day because it was so hot. That probably had as much to do with my brother's dislike for Disney ~ lots of money, complaining, whining children = not such a fun day. We went back later in the trip when my sister-in-law had to work and the kids were back in school. We took the Walk in Walt's Footsteps and had a great day

I hate it when people don't take their kids. Of course, not everyone can afford to, and that's a different situation. But those who can, but won't - I just think you give up so much for your kids, but you won't make that sacrifice for your kids to have that experience? When someone doesn't go until they are an adult, it can be harder for them to get into the "magic".

Not my cousin; he may have been 18 years old, but that day in EPCOT he was more like 8 years old. My favorite bit: when eating at Germany a couple at the same table thought he was my son because she could see the resemblance. If my cousin hadn't corrected her, I was going to have fun running with that gag...

I saw the post earlier about Google Earth, I do the exact same thing. I always search for Epcot's Geosphere first, mainly because it's huge and you can't miss it. I still can't find Old Key West and Disney Studios.

I think it's great when that happens! I just know it's harder for some people. It's taken my husband a while to get more like that.

You know you're a WDW nut when this is your fantasy...
When this is your reality

...and this was one of the warm days this week
I tried pressing the reset button, but it didn't work

That was after it warmed up and I had to be out for work ~ it was in the negative digits earlier in the morning
