Day 5, Saturday 12-4-10 was the big Mayhem Marauder meet-up day, which we’ve all posted about already. So I’ll skip to:

Day 6, Sunday 12-5-10
This was the day we transferred to the Boardwalk. We got up bright and early, packed, and caught a cab over to check in. A concierge met us in the lobby and took us directly to our room for check in. We were very happy that it was ready for us. When we saw the room, we were totally blown away by how beautiful it was, and how spacious. It was one of the 2-story Garden Suites, and was perfectly decorated… just like home! They even had a box of chocolate truffles and a welcome card sitting on the table for us! This place is now our all-time favorite place to stay at WDW. Here’s some pics:

We settled in and admired the place for a little while, then walked over to Epcot to enjoy our day. By now it was “brunch” time, so we grabbed a glass of champagne in France….

Image

…. and sipped it as we sauntered around the world. We had a quick eggroll in China just to take the edge off our hunger (we didn’t have any breakfast), and then just wandered for a while, taking it all in. I nabbed a good candid shot of Jasmine and Aladdin, and another of Mary Poppins:

I got another good picture of Mouseoholic with a stuffed Duffy, but she won’t let me post it because it involves her wearing her angry eyes and holding him by the neck in a less-than-flattering way. I’ll just leave it at that…

Now it was time for lunch, so we headed to Mexico for our ADR at The San Angel Inn. We checked in with the hostess and then got a couple nice shots of the plaza and Mouseoholic clowning around with a Sombrero…

…and then while we waited for our table we ducked into one of my favorite hangouts for a little “ambience”:

When we finished lunch we ran into NaCler and his mom on our way out. It was really nice to see them again. They’re great people. By now we were looking forward to a resort break, so we headed back to the Boardwalk. Mouseoholic was really worn out. I got a touching shot of her resting on the bridge for a minute while we were walking back:

After a nice long nap, it was time to head back to Epcot for dinner at Tokyo Dining. I love their Rainbow Roll with the fresh shaved Ginger and Wasabi paste. Yum!

Image

After dinner it was time to head over to DHS to meet up with the Boilers again. We took a Friendship boat, and even though it was very cold, I rode outside so I could nab some nice night shots along the way:

We hung out the Boilers on various rides and so forth. I can’t remember all the details, but I do remember that TSMM was practically walk-on, which was really cool:

Image

Boilerdude kicked my hind parts on that one… my score wasn’t even close.

We also rode the Great Movie Ride. We had the gangster. Here’s a few shots that came out pretty good:

Well, that’s about it. We had a great time shutting down the park with the Boilers. With practically no one there, it was a great chance to grab a good shot of the hat with no people in the way. I sent this one to Subsonic too. Haven’t heard back from him yet:

That’s it for Day 6. Stay tuned for more… eventually!

As usual, some amazing pictures to compliment an equally amazing day! :) Thank you for braving the cold to get those nighttime pics from the Friendship boat too! :D

Nice photos yet again M-dude. My camera bows to your camera for the inside the Great Movie ride shots!
I'm very impressed by your suite at the Boardwalk. It looks like a little apartment  I guess I really need to look into staying in at least a moderate when we return...sigh...

You skipped Dec 4th?!? Nooooooooooo! I was looking so forward to that day! :( :( :(

Enjoyed Dec 5th. I know Len90 will too; he was getting a bit hyper there waiting for some more trip reports. I was afraid we were going to have to give him some of your meds, Mousekedude.

I agree that the Boardwalk resort room looked amazing! I was wondering what was the "room type" if I was going to look it up on the Disney.com room reservation system?

I have to agree too. I thought Mouseoholic had posted about the 4th so I was looking forward to your version of the 4th. I am happy to say my trip report fix has been filled for the time being. No need to take any more meds mindflipper :D

That room at the Boardwalk looks fantastic. I do like the TV in the bathroom right above the sinks. Awesome night shots... as always

BTW: Any word on how B-babe and Mouseoholic did on TSMM?

Okay, Len90 seconds the motion: Mousekedude, we want Dec 4th trip report!!! 8-) Anyway, Len90 may get hungry for more trip reports, and I can almost hear him say, "FEED ME, SEYMOUR!"

Also, I gotta agree with everyone else, you have taken some incredible photos on this trip! :D

Thanks for the compliments on the pics, everyone. We worked hard for those. We had to whittle them down from literally thousands of shots that just didn't make the grade.

As far as Day 5, the big meet-up day... I did already post a full report on that. I made my first introductory post about the middle of page 6, and then the actual full post of the day's events started page 7. So I didn't see the need to repost the same thing all over again. Remember, too, that our camera battery died at Captain Cook's right before we went out to the beach for the Dole Whip frivolity, so I'm counting on the other Mayhem Marauders to post pics from that part of it. We're still eagerly awaiting Boilerbabe's contributions to the story of that day's events, too.

I'll probably have more time to start working on Day 7 next week. :D

Wow, I go away for a little while and come back to see a whole bunch of awesome pictures and trip reportage! Very cool stuff! I especially loved the pictures of the Boilers' adventure at the Living Seas. I envy the Mousekecouple for getting to go inside the Odyssey, and Mousekedude, I forgive you for mistakenly calling it Horizons. Because I like you, I will not feed you to the sharks at The Living Seas when I am Dictator of all WDW. At least, not for that. :)

We won't let that happen to you, Mousekedude. Anyway, if MmeLeota or Amy can't tame them with their CHI's, Len90 can beat those sharks back with his yardstick. :mickey:

Sorry, yardstick is buried in the snow. I'll have to retrieve it in the spring. ;)

Wow! Just can't rely on people backing you up, can ya?

Don't worry, Mousekedude, I'm right behind you when the sharks attack... :D ....at least a good running distance behind you...

LOL, you guys are great. I love all the comments.

I did notice just now that I neglected to answer a couple questions. Mindflipper: the room was called a "Garden Suite." Len: I don't remember how Mouseoholic and Boilerbabe did on TSMM... all I remember is that Boilerdude kicked all our behinds. :(

I remember Boilerdude from Buzz Lightyear, and yes, he is highly competitive on the video games! I can't remember who of the 6 of us had the highest score, but I do remember NaCler hit something that gave him like 100,000 points! He rocked!

Darn, I wish I could have been there to compete with you guys. I have a bit of a competitive streak...at least according to my friends...I of course, think I am a delightful player with no ulterior motives
