Day 6, Sunday 12-5-10
This was the day we transferred to the Boardwalk. We got up bright and early, packed, and caught a cab over to check in. A concierge met us in the lobby and took us directly to our room for check in. We were very happy that it was ready for us. When we saw the room, we were totally blown away by how beautiful it was, and how spacious. It was one of the 2-story Garden Suites, and was perfectly decorated… just like home! They even had a box of chocolate truffles and a welcome card sitting on the table for us! This place is now our all-time favorite place to stay at WDW. Here’s some pics:

We settled in and admired the place for a little while, then walked over to Epcot to enjoy our day. By now it was “brunch” time, so we grabbed a glass of champagne in France….

…. and sipped it as we sauntered around the world. We had a quick eggroll in China just to take the edge off our hunger (we didn’t have any breakfast), and then just wandered for a while, taking it all in. I nabbed a good candid shot of Jasmine and Aladdin, and another of Mary Poppins:

I got another good picture of Mouseoholic with a stuffed Duffy, but she won’t let me post it because it involves her wearing her angry eyes and holding him by the neck in a less-than-flattering way. I’ll just leave it at that…

Now it was time for lunch, so we headed to Mexico for our ADR at The San Angel Inn. We checked in with the hostess and then got a couple nice shots of the plaza and Mouseoholic clowning around with a Sombrero…

…and then while we waited for our table we ducked into one of my favorite hangouts for a little “ambience”:

When we finished lunch we ran into NaCler and his mom on our way out. It was really nice to see them again. They’re great people. By now we were looking forward to a resort break, so we headed back to the Boardwalk. Mouseoholic was really worn out. I got a touching shot of her resting on the bridge for a minute while we were walking back:

After a nice long nap, it was time to head back to Epcot for dinner at Tokyo Dining. I love their Rainbow Roll with the fresh shaved Ginger and Wasabi paste. Yum!

After dinner it was time to head over to DHS to meet up with the Boilers again. We took a Friendship boat, and even though it was very cold, I rode outside so I could nab some nice night shots along the way:

We hung out the Boilers on various rides and so forth. I can’t remember all the details, but I do remember that TSMM was practically walk-on, which was really cool:

Boilerdude kicked my hind parts on that one… my score wasn’t even close.

We also rode the Great Movie Ride. We had the gangster. Here’s a few shots that came out pretty good:

Well, that’s about it. We had a great time shutting down the park with the Boilers. With practically no one there, it was a great chance to grab a good shot of the hat with no people in the way. I sent this one to Subsonic too. Haven’t heard back from him yet:

That’s it for Day 6. Stay tuned for more… eventually!
