Ok so for appetizers we had baked brie with carrots and pear chutney, the bread was actually not needed at all, as well as goose pâté (darn hippes won't let me have the liver in this state) with heirloom tomatoes from the garden, pickles. and cucumber.
For dinner we had a chateaubriand (not really fans of turkey outside of the breast being used for a sandwich) with a red wine and mushroom sauce, served with potato casserole and spanakopita. I'm not actually sure how they got there and we've never made them before, but they were good and actually much lighter than other traditional spinach sides. Between the starters and the richness of the food no one could get past a slice of beef so there are tons of leftovers.
And finally, there was chocolate bourbon peacan pie served with kirschwasser, and pumpkin pie served with spiked coffee.
Now it's your turn, what was on your Thanksgiving menu? Bonus points if you can show people doing shots of gravy.
