OK, nough said. I know the drive from Staten Island can be too exciting. I get the same way on the drive from Chattanooga. We have to drive through Atlanta and lats face 285 or the connector in Atlanta can be more exciting then R&R!

Speaking of Atlanta, we never ever take the outerbelt. It's straight through town for us. We generally hit it about 10pm (coming down from Ohio), man is the city pretty at night.
I might be one of the few people who likes to drive down. Then again it's only about an 18 hour drive which we split between two days through the Smokey Mountains. A very nice drive, weather permitting.

I don't think they'll be getting rid of this one anytime soon since they've built seating and an arena for this thing...so hopefully it will still be around when your kiddies are older.Mamabaminjamin wrote:Ok back to the thread. Yeah, judging by the crowds every time we've gone, it looks like it's still very popular too. I don't think it's going anywhere for a while.boilerbabe wrote:I don't think they'll be getting rid of this one anytime soon since they've built seating and an arena for this thing...so hopefully it will still be around when your kiddies are older.Mamabaminjamin wrote:Ok back to the thread. Ahhh...that's one I forgot. I've never done "Lights Motors Action" either and since my daughter is about a week and a half away from turning one I might be in the same boat!Mamabaminjamin wrote:Ok back to the thread. I won't be there until end of August and beginning of September...so I think I will miss the MSEP.
Maybe they will decide to extend it and at least have it running one of the nights we are down there.

Mindflipper is right in that the rumors are that the MSEP will be in WDW for 2 years while DCA gets its rehab.theBIGyowski wrote:I won't be there until end of August and beginning of September...so I think I will miss the MSEP.Maybe they will decide to extend it and at least have it running one of the nights we are down there.
Also, the summer season usually runs through Labor Day (1st weekend in September) so even if they aren't running the parade past the summer, you should still be able to see it if you are going at the end of August.

Tiki
As crazy as it sounds, I don't recall ever visiting the Tiki Room!!! If I did, it was when I was about 4 years old and I don't remember it. I think I will try to work it in during our next trip if the line isn't too long.
