OK, nough said. I know the drive from Staten Island can be too exciting. I get the same way on the drive from Chattanooga. We have to drive through Atlanta and lats face 285 or the connector in Atlanta can be more exciting then R&R!

Speaking of Atlanta, we never ever take the outerbelt. It's straight through town for us. We generally hit it about 10pm (coming down from Ohio), man is the city pretty at night.

I might be one of the few people who likes to drive down. Then again it's only about an 18 hour drive which we split between two days through the Smokey Mountains. A very nice drive, weather permitting.

I don't think they'll be getting rid of this one anytime soon since they've built seating and an arena for this thing...so hopefully it will still be around when your kiddies are older. :D

Yeah, judging by the crowds every time we've gone, it looks like it's still very popular too. I don't think it's going anywhere for a while.

Ahhh...that's one I forgot. I've never done "Lights Motors Action" either and since my daughter is about a week and a half away from turning one I might be in the same boat!

I forgot to mention The Main Street Electrical Parade. I can't wait to see it this summer. Although I saw when I was young, I think it will be like it's brand new to me.

I won't be there until end of August and beginning of September...so I think I will miss the MSEP. :( Maybe they will decide to extend it and at least have it running one of the nights we are down there.

Maybe not...MSEP is advertised for a summer run, but rumors have it going a bit longer. The parade is being run here as construction at DCA continues ... :mickey:

Haven't eaten at most of the resort restaurants yet... still haven't done certain shows (like Lights Motor Action). That's about it.

Mindflipper is right in that the rumors are that the MSEP will be in WDW for 2 years while DCA gets its rehab.

Also, the summer season usually runs through Labor Day (1st weekend in September) so even if they aren't running the parade past the summer, you should still be able to see it if you are going at the end of August.

Well good to hear the MSEP will stick around for a bit! Hopefully I can catch it after all.

Tiki

As crazy as it sounds, I don't recall ever visiting the Tiki Room!!! If I did, it was when I was about 4 years old and I don't remember it. I think I will try to work it in during our next trip if the line isn't too long.

Oh the Tiki Room is great fun! I'm sure you haven't been or you were in fact very young since I can't imagine you would forget that show!
