And in case you haven't made the short side trip, The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge lobby ROCKS!! It is very much like the Main Lodge except more cozy and the Golden Spike room right next door just adds to it.

Since this is general, I will add m DLR favorite which is the Grand Califronian. I was only 11 when we went and I still remember the amazing sight when you first walk in. I would classify it as very similar to the Wilderness Lodge.

My favorite resort lobby of all the ones I have visited has to be the Grand Floridian!! I love the smell when you enter in and the music played by a great band!! I really love the elevator in the center of the lobby too...just gorgeous!!! Will I ever be able to do more than visit....doubt it!! But I love that lobby!

I'm biased because I haven't been to WDW in about 15 years, but my favorite is the Grand Californian here. It's a wonderful place to just escape for a while, even if you are only visiting the parks for one day. In WDW I think mine would be Wilderness Lodge (just watch the way I request the loop constantly in the request stream), although Poly would be a close second.

Probably Animal Kingdom Lodge for me, followed closely by Wilderness Lodge (which is funny because the structural design of the two lobbies is very similar).

Ooh, hard one. Umm... I guess I'd have to say the Polynesian. It's peaceful (unless it's crowded in there), and pretty and reminds me of happy times.

I have to say, I'm pretty happy walking into any Disney resort lobby, though, if we're checking in.

I actually wouldn't have said this one until I had to hang out in it for a couple of hours, but the Port Orleans French Quarter.
It is small, but I love the little fountain with the Mardi Gras coins and the little area where they have a place for kids to color- they put out line art of various Disney characters and crayons and you can go to town, and there is a TV there too so you can color and watch Disney cartoons. Makes ya feel like a kid again!
Since I am an art nut, and I love to be like a kid (and I didn't want to be bored while waiting for the rest of our party, hehe) I did color, and I had a blast! A bunch of kids said that my art was really good, which was cool!

The resort at which I work- Saratoga Springs! The first time I walked in the lobby there, on a training day tour I had, I just stopped and gasped. It's so beautiful!!!! I love the equestrian theme (I have always liked horses).... plus it's just a relaxing resort in general.

I like that one, too. It looks really nice at Christmas. :)

While many are stunning, the Wilderness Lodge's lobby blew me away. Animal Kingdom's is a very close second.

Pretty funny to see how you rank Wilderness and AKL near eachother. AKL is built on a similar layout. They are the two deluxes with slightly smaller rooms and a lot cheaper rates.

Another vote for Wilderness Lodge here! It's just an awe-inspiring space.

It's a tie for me Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge.
Both spectacular in there own ways.
