Lost DATA
When I first read there was over two months of lost DATA I was upset. Now going over all the post on the boards, well it's put everything into a new light. It's seems some very old threads are coming up. After a while you get to look at things with a new insight. This could be a lot of fun! ;+>

Yeah and also a lot happened in the past 2 weeks in terms of Disney so it allows for a refresher. It defnitely feels a bit different on the boards but I'm sure we'll get back into the normal habit.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

I think the only thread I'm really upset about losing was that one where we were collecting all the stuff Disney hopes people won't look too closely at (like the abandoned Pop buildings and such). Buuuut we can rebuild. We have the technology! (Faster, stronger, better... I'll stop.)
It's interesting to see what 'forgotten' threads are getting new life.

Yeah, it's kind of cool seeing all of the old threads getting another chance.DisBeamer wrote:I think the only thread I'm really upset about losing was that one where we were collecting all the stuff Disney hopes people won't look too closely at (like the abandoned Pop buildings and such). I do agree that the old threads are gone. A lot of them held a lot of info that we all used but hey, we can always make new ones!DisBeamer wrote:I think the only thread I'm really upset about losing was that one where we were collecting all the stuff Disney hopes people won't look too closely at (like the abandoned Pop buildings and such). Posts weren't removed, they were lost due to a database corruption issue we had. We kept the site down longer while I tried multiple ways to restore the data. I was unable to do so, thus we had to fall back to and older backup. We have takes steps to make sure this does not happen again.

Because Dr. Ravenscroft, Js3901 and Subsonic didn't want you to know that you have surpassed them in posts. If you don't let the people know that they have more than the rulers, they can't overthrow the regime.Jacca5660 wrote:Just curious....why were points removed?
