Very much a fan also. Counting the hours till May 19th 12:01 AM. Have to see EP. 3. Been catching up on all my SW gaming to get in shape. Working through my second time playing KOTOR II, while also playing Battlefront, and going through Republic Commando again. Between that work, and getting my new house :D ready to move into on the 21st. Not much time for anything else.

Hehe. I can't wait either. I already bought tickets online for the day it opens. I am extremely looking foward to this. I'll be crying though, literally. My poor baby Natalie dies  I really gotta get ROTS for PS2 too!

"We really need to try Mission:SPACE first."

If you don't pay attention, it is easy to miss the detail in the que for Kali River Rapids. It really is quite lovely. Everyone is more interested in getting on that raft, understandably so.

I like Tower of Terror, and also I like the Haunted Mansion.... I know it's not spectacular, but when I was little I really got excited to read the funny gravestones.

Hmmm alot of good debate on this subject.

I will list mine per park:
  • MK - Space Mountain - music and feel, make it the best!
Epcot - Test Track - dummies, dummies, dummies
MGM - Rock n' Roll Coaster.. gotta g-force records
AK - Tough to be a bug... can't go wrong with the tree and the cool soundtrack

Let the debate continue!

My pick for favorite queue has got to be Space Mountain, the moment you get in the building your just thrown into the mountain and that's something I really like.

RnR is good, esp. with the pre-show and alley [really terrific work there with the parking garage, graffiti, scaffolding, dumpters, etc] but the queue area outside and before the preshow leaves something to be desired, esp. when compared to Muppets or ToT or Star Tours and their indoor/outdoor areas. If only they could have continued the theming out into the line more...

I haven't been to WDW enough to remember the details of the queues, but I do remember the one for POTC. The queue we have in Disneyland for POTC is really just a line that goes around, and you have nothing to really look at, except each other. So when I was at WDW, I was more excited about the queue than the actual ride. I was like, "wow, there's actually signs of pirates!"
"A pirate in irons be full o' guile.
And the blackest 'art wears the broadest smile."

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

We LOVE Rock N Roll Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror at MGM! Love to spin the marbles on the door at RR and the themeing inside the hotel for TT is excellent! My husband loves all the pipes and boilers in the section right before you ride the ride. He can't believe how real they look!

I like the atmosphere of the queue at Splash Mountain with the Jungle tupe background. It really builds up to the ride.

MK - Pirates of the Caribbean
Epcot - El Rio Del Tiempo (I LOVE the indoor "outdoor" plaza)
Studios - Rock'n'RollerCoaster
AK - Dinosaur
DL - Indiana Jones Adventure
DCA - Tower of Terror

Haven't been to any of the Japan/Europe parks, so can't comment on those...

At DCA, (I know this is a Florida thread, but since the previous post brought up DCA...) I enjoy the queue for Soarin' Over California. The building itself is nothing to write home about, but the pictures with the biographies of different pioneers of flight is outstanding. I only wish they were in an area where you could stop and read them all. It is obvious they took the time to do the research and put up individuals beyond your Armstrongs and Lindberghs. With the importance Southern California played in the history of flight, I am glad to see some of the lesser known folks outside of the industry have their story told. My father, who knew many of these people personally, was very impressed. Whenever I go through there with someone new, I like to talk about those pictures and share extra history about the individuals.

you got to admit that the haunted mansion in wdw is the coolest with the funny tombstones dedicated to the imagineers and laughing my butt off when someone screams when madam leota's grave "magicly comes to life"
