When I was 12 my parents convinced me to take a ride on the Mark Twain at Disneyland. A few minutes into the ride the boat Captain came down the steps, walked right over to me and asked if I would like to pilot the boat!
Not only did I get to turn the huge wheel, but I also got to press the buttons for the announcements and pull the steam whistle. The view from inside the cabin was amazing and I'll never forget it.
At the end of the ride they asked me to sign the Captains log. The Captain informed me the last guest to pilot the boat was a cast member from Star Trek the Next Generation. Sure enough I looked at the log and saw Wil Wheatons signature.
To this day when I climb aboard the Mark Twain I look up at that door and it takes me back. It's been one of my favorites ever since.

Cast members are magical
Several years ago a close friend lost her husband to cancer. At the funeral I offered her a week in my Disney timeshare to help the family re-bond after the event. A year later she called to say that she would like to accept the offer but couldn't afford the trip.
Several cast members joined with me to get park tickets, etc. to make this magical event possible. While she was there, the cast then did little things for them to make the trip truly special. To this day she still tells me how much her family enjoyed the trip.

Most Magical Moment!
That is very hard cuz there are alot of magical moments at disney! I actually have two! When I was a teenager my brother and I were eating at the what now is Kona Kafe and Goofy actually set at the table with us while we ate for about 15 minutes! He is my favorite character so that was awesome! Then just two years ago I got to go to Mickey's Not so scary Halloween Party and I love the Villians So that was awesome! My two favorite villians are the Evil Queen my ultimate favorite and Maleficent from sleeping beauty! I finally got a picture with both of them! IT was a great night all around!
Who is the fairest in the land! Snow White is the fairest in the land!! We all have something great to add to the world which makes us all the fairest in the land!!!

Moment
My most magical moment by far was taking my son to Disney and watching his face and just the excitment in him! What fun!
We were caught in the normal florida afternoon downpour! Ran for big thunder mountain and due to the rain no one was there we must have rode that ride 5 times and didnt even have to get off! He was in heaven!!

My friend is the best at magical moments!
The one that I remember the most involved a little girl on her birthday (we worked in Tland) and my friend after learning her name and which hotel they were staying at went to get her some suckers. When she came back the family had already left.
She was a determined friend. She called me later that night (around midnight) still wanting to make sure the girl got her gifts.
Her and I drove over to the Grand Floridian (and we stuck out bad in our sweat pants!) and with the help of the front desk CM we were able to find out the room number. In the end the girl was to wake up the next morning with a present outside with a letter from Minnie Mouse and her Tomorrowland Space Ranger friend.

I did not witness this, but I have heard this story. Maybe some of you have heard it as well.
A father and his child were entering Space Mountain, when the cast member told them the child could not take her ice cream inside. The child began to cry. The cast member said, "It's alright. I'll hold it for you." When the child exited, the cast member gave the child her ice cream.
The rest of the story. Naturally, the cast member could not hold ice cream for more than 30 minutes in the Florida sun. Using all of the cast member's training, the CM knew approximately when the child would be exiting. At the appropriate time, the CM purchased a new ice cream cone and met the child at the exit. No one was the wiser.
I read this in one of my many Disney books. (I hope it is not an urban legend.) This is why I love this place.
