ok, to clear this up. I re-posted the rule on double posts as a reminder (like Disbeamer said). I haven't done it for a while, and we've had an increase in new users posting over the last few weeks. The update was not directed at any one user in particular. It was directed at the group. Feel free to post as much as you want. Just make sure you're following the flow of the thread (try to stay ON-topic as much as possible, no flames, no one word/all emoticon posts, etc).
As for the double posts. Double posts, as defined by the announcement, are posts by one user one right after the other (no breaks in between) within a few minutes of each other. usually they are to add something that you forgot to type before hitting "Submit", or are comments made to another user and you wanted to quote them (instead of using the Quote tool in the main posting window (not the quick post at the bottom of each thread, but when you click "Post Reply") or typing out the BB code of [ quote] and [ /quote]). If you posted something a few days ago and you want to add something or bump up the thread, that's fine. But if it's only been a few minutes since posting, use the tools that the forum offers to edit your last post.
also, if you have a question on something I post, please PM me, and I can clear up any questions you may have. If you think something is directed at you, do not worry. If there is something posted in the Announcements forum, it's for EVERYONE. If something is going to be directed at any one user, we (the Admins and Mods) will send a Private Message (PM). if you do not respond to the PM, we will them attempt to email you.
