Let me tell you how disappointi9ng it is that Atlantic Dance Hall doesnt get more of a crowd. The inside is really nice...the music isnt all that bad..they play a variety of just about everything...I would have thought that after PI closed..more people would go to ADH...but I was wrong. I am sure that the price tag to rent it for weddings takes care of the operating costs to keep it open everything..but Disney should somehow do a better job marketing it so more people go to it at night...It could probably be better than JellyRolls if they tried. Any thoughts?

Drinks outside at The Wilderness Lodge, or on the Polynesian Beach with Fireworks going off across the lagoon is always good for a peaceful night out. But the Boardwalk is always a good time...

The boat ride between Downtown Disney and Port Orleans is quite pleasant. You get to float past the tree houses too! Of course, just walking around the grounds of some of the resorts like Port Orleans (FQ and Riverside), Saratoga Springs, Polynesian, etc. is relaxing and can provide some much needed relief from the parks. It also allows you to appreciate a lot of the work that has been done in the detailed theming of the resorts. I have never been to the Wilderness Lodge, but I assume it would fall into the same category.

1986: Offsite
1997: Offsite
2001: Coronado Springs
2008: Shades of Green / Saratoga Springs (WDW Half Marathon)
2009: Port Orleans French Quarter (WDW Half Marathon)
2010: Port Orleans Riverside (Honeymoon)
2011: Old Key West / Bay Lake Tower
2014: Kidani Village
2015: Old Key West (5th Wedding Anniversary)
2016: Old Key West (Kids' first WDW vacation in December!)

While we're on the topics of Resorts, Animal Kingdom Lodge also has some great nighttime activities... Aside from the typical, pool, bar, wandering aspects, they have Boma, which is an amazing restaurant, and sometimes, (you have to time it right), you can catch the bonfire and storytime...

Night time
Love going to Ohanas for a Kona Fire Rock Draft and wait for the Water Peagant! Sitting on the beach watching that peagant brings back great memories from my child hood! Love it! or I love just relaxing by the pool at night with a good book no matter where I stay! But Poly by far is favorite place to relax at night!boilerbabe wrote:My DH and I enjoy the lobby at the Poly, they usually have entertainment on the second level, it's a laid back environment. Nice to get a tropical drink and enjoy!

Ditto! It's that feeling that "I'm here where all the magic is, the world is my oyster and I've got pixie dust to burn!" feeling! We usually just resort hop or hang out at our resort.

Pool!
Yes saratoga has a pool table in the back with a lil bar! Nice and quiet there! Pool table is nice to as long as some pool shark wannabe doesnt play for an hour while other people are waiting to play!HauntedMansion74 wrote:I love the polynesion resort as well at Ohanas! saratoge springs at artist pallete as well! love pleasure Island when it was open as well!
