During this time of year, the g** and lesbian community get together in Florida. One of their stops is Walt Disney World. This year the dates are June 2 thru June 8, 2009. Thursday, June 4th, Animal Kingdom. Friday June 5th, Disney's Hollywood Studios. Saturday, June 6th, Magic Kingdom. Sunday, June 7th, EPCOT.
OMG my boyfriend will be BS over that......we ran into that in Palm Springs on their weekend......he was not happy. He will be sooooooo p***. I never thought to look into what groups might be there. Oh well, he will just have to keep an open mind ?????  :?:
Personally I don't care one way or the other. Since I grew up in Palm Springs and a lot of my very best, close friends are g**, it won't be an issue for me. Except the PDA I could do without

Well, I just called him and he said no way would he go durin that time.....so I need to call Disney and see if we can switch our dates. I was like no way will I go when its hot as hell in FL! So whats the happy medium here........I dont want to wait until Fall and I dont think the promo we were on included dates in the fall....UGHHHHHH

This is NOT a Walt Disney World "function". The year following my experience, I didn't want to book our next vaction during this "function", so I called and asked. I asked very tactfully, as not to offend. The cast member told me they could not answer that question, because it would be against the law. I found out it was called g** days. That is also the name of thier web site. Just want to repeat, we had no "problems" with this group. They didn't bother us. But I did watch the kids closely, and paid attention to who was in the restrooms. And DO NOT WEAR A RED SHIRT. It is the color they choose to identify themselves.

I forgot what this thread was about, sorry.
I like steak! If you can afford it, go eat a steak at the Yachtsman Steakhouse - Yacht Club.
Sci Fi Dine In Theater, Le Cellier Steakhouse, and the Rainforest Cafe, have good steaks also. As mentioned before, get "priority seating", there may not be any seating when you just walk in.

The heat in May isn't too bad, really. It's warm but not unbearable.

And maybe I've missed something here, but since when is "g**" a curse word? It's a descriptive term, not a slur (although when you think about it, any adjective can be a slur if you say it in a derisive tone of voice) Everyone's different as far as what they're comfortable with, certainly, but that kind of verbal tiptoeing strikes me as rather Victorian.

You may need to check out when grad nights are, I've heard it's very, very, quiet. (not) You did say you were staying at the Poly? You may need to check on that.......

OMGosh does everyone have to go when I want to go....ha ha ha I am not changing it, we will have to make due, after all it is a large enough place to get lost in so I am sure we will be fine and dandy. I just wasn't too sure how busy Memorial Weekend was going to be and wanted to stay away from it. The original week we picked as listed on their site as "low attendance, so slow" (something like that) so I was excited, but I am excited no matter what dates we go, it's not like we'd ever have the place all to ourselves anyway :D

We are gonna be at the Wilderness Lodge not the Poly :D

Well, we won't be going in May. We have to put it off until Sept. ... that's a good time of year right??
