Sorry, yodiwan1. Rhino is not the official symbol.

Yodiwan1, it is not the Thompson's Gazelles. I will re-state the question so future guessers won't have to scroll back several pages and this time I will add a hint.
On the Kilimangaro Safari attraction, what animal is the symbol of the Harambe Wildlife Reserve (est. 1971)?
Hint: this animal can be seen as you enter the Serengeti Grassland System portion of the ride.

Is it a Black Rhino?

lol..ok, well since this is now an ALl disney trivia I will go with a disneyland question...Walt originally owned the rights to a very popular childrens story which he was going to make into a Land in the orignal plans for Disneyland. What was the name of the land and the story?

yodiwan1, I did hear this before. I think I read it once, as well. I'm trying to find the answer. I haven't given up on your trivia yet.

I'm going to take a real stab at it and say Winnie the Pooh and Storyland or 100 Acres Woods. I'm not sure of the timing because Disney did not obtain rights to Winne the Pooh until 1961, and I'm sure as heck not sure about my made up lands. But it was fun to guess anyway.
