wdw you don't like the new Nemoization?

It may not be a complete rehab but I feel its better then it was before the nemoization.

I'm just glad it is still around and not replaced by some thrill ride like they did to Horizons and WoM... BTW - heard they are adding Dory to Turtle Talk with Crush

I like the Nemoization rehab. More interesting for kids now. :)

I hope so. They seem to be updating Living Seas slowsly but surely. I love all the new Nemo stuff inside, the jellyfish display, etc. When the ride was there, it was one of the coolest things to do at Living Seas, to ride thru and look up and see the water overhead.

I have heard they have a "Talk with Crush" thing now, which I haven't seen. Anyone done that yet?

A few days before I went to WDW on my last trip, this past November, a friend who was at WDW for the Student College Program told me that the Living Seas was all rehabed and new, with the style of Finding Nemo! I was really excited to see how it turned out. It was very cool, and also very different from how it was in my trip before that in 2002. I'm glad they updated at least one pavillion recently at EPCOT. And now we have The Land.

I do love the movie inThe Land with Timon and Pumba. It think it is often over-looked, and the scenery is beautiful.

I agree, the scenery is beautiful. I think The Land is actually over-looked. I'm really excited to see how the renovation turned out. I'm sure many more people will appreciate The Land now that Soarin' is there, and the whole food court has been changed. I'm really looking forward to it. And I've always enjoyed the raft ride in The Land, the one that takes you around their greenhouses and that area. People find it boring, but I find it interesting.

What is the only thing better than walking through an aquarium. RIDING THROUGH IT.

IRT JKM:
I've been to Turtle Talk several time. It's EASILY... and I mean EASILY... one of the coolest things in all of WDW. And if you have kids you absolutely have to go see it. I understand the technology they used for it is being utilized for a future ride/attraction at WDW that's supposed to mind-blowingly awesome, but they haven't released any details yet.

Seacabs

Post by Fantasrick » Jul Thu 21, 2005 12:42 pm

I love the seacabs, it will be neat to see what they do with the projections of Nemo on that part of the attractions. I hate it when they mess with the stuff I like.

WHOO HOOO :D

According to http://www.screamscape.com/html/walt_disney_world.htm

The sea cabs should be back...

Here is the excerpt
2006 - The Living Seas / Nemo Ride - (7/22/05) Inside sources have confirmed that the entire The Living Seas pavilion (including Turtle Talk) will close down for rehab starting August 21st until mid November. Sounds like the rumored rebirth of the Sea Cabs is nearly confirmed.
(6/27/05) The latest rumor about the new Nemo themed ride at The Living Seas comes from DLP.info where they’ve been trying to dig up information about the Nemo themed dark ride in development for Walt Disney Studios Paris. While the two rides will be different, they claim that many of the special effects planned for the Paris attraction will be built and tested out for the Living Seas attraction first. This may include several “wet-for-dry” effects scenes and some kind of special effect to take guests on a ride through the bubble filled East Australian Current.
I can't wait

A ride through the EAC, cool. Not sure how they'd do that, but those imagineers can do pretty much anything. Would not put it past them to be able to simulate a ride through the EAC.

rdeacon - you just made my day!

I would love to see them add the EAC concept, hopefully as a new addition, not a "gut the sea-station" move since it is cool if not the world's most entertaining area [I like it but I can see how it wouldn't attract the "entertain me now" people]. Those folks can build anything when given the money and time... So send the bluey to the mate nextdoor, it's onto Oz on a board for a bonzer time!
