Planning my Honeymoon Cruise!!!
Hi everyone, and thanks in advance for any help you can give. I have been busy being married for the past 2 months and we just booked our Disney Honeymooon Cruise from May2-9. 7-day Western Caribbean with stops in Key West, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Castaway Cay. We have both never been on a cruise, and have no idea what to expect. So far all we know is we have an ocean view, and have booked 2 excursions. In Cozumel we are swimming with Dolphins, and at Grand Caymen we are snorkeling ar Stingray reef and City. Any suggestions would gladly be taken. We also have an 8:15 eating time. We really are into seeing shows and as much as we can. The boat is teh Magic. Thanks everyone, and it's good to be back!

Welcome back yodiwan!!! How is married life treating you?
You two will LOVE your Disney cruise. I went with my family when it's was the Maiden Voyage year in '99, hard to believe it's been that long. We also cruised on the Magic! At that time they didn't make stops in the Keys etc....Have you ever been to the Keys?! They're beautiful. It will depend how much time you have at each port...when you are in Key West if you can, do NOT miss the sunset on Mallory Square!
You will absolutely LOVE the swim with the dolphins, did that on another vacation in Cozumel, it's something you will never forget!!!
Never been to Grand Cayman but Castaway Cay is wonderful!!! You'll want to spend the full day on land there! The snorkeling is fanstastic, make sure you search for the "Hidden Mickey" an underwater camera would be good for this! There are different beaches as I'm sure you've already found that out. It's truly paradise!
We had the later dining time as well, there are less children when it's later. The restaurants are fasntastic and the food is as well. The ship is a floating palace! If I think of more, I'll post again. Any questions....let me know! Hope you have a wonderful Honeymoon!!!!

I posted a bunch of tips that I wish I would have known before I left on my last Disney cruise. Basically, it was bring a watch (the clock on the cell phone doesn't work in International waters), walkie talkies (if you guys are planning on being apart a lot, which I doubt), and a sweatshirt/pair of long pants (the nights can get pretty breezy).
My favorite part of the whole ship is Deck 10 Forward right in front of the basketball courts. It's like a front row center view of paradise. It's so relaxing to just stand there and watch the sea go by - make sure you stop up there at least once. Also, I don't know if this is the same on the Magic (I only remember this being on the Wonder, but both ships are so similar), but there is a small deck on either Deck 6 or 7 Aft that is only open during the day (since it's so secluded, it becomes a safety hazard at night) where nobody goes since it's a little hard to find. You can easily find it if you know what you're looking for, but many people don't even realize it's there.

Thanks girls!! I really can't wait!!! How do you find out which night is the formal night? I know on other cruises I was told there is always at least one. Oh, do the cast members where pins to trade?? I am a huge trader and this seems very cool to see the same people everyday and trade!

I have never been on a Disney cruise, though in the past I have been on other cruise lines, and enjoyed them all. I loved that you get to eat all the time
Congratulations on getting married!!! The one thing I would recommend is to go see what ever shows they put on and just have FUN!!

Ever sicne we booked it I have had dreams every night about the cruise! I even bought a book about the cruise which is really being helpful. The oen thing I am worried about are teh underwater pics. I knwo the disposable camers suck..do they make an affordable underwater camera?
