I didn't know this thread existed!

I was at Star Wars Weekends last year and I was taking a picture with a stormtrooper (which is just awkward no matter what you do). Anyway, I had heard somewhere that if stormtroopers are following you around during SWW, you should try and do a "Jedi mind trick" (aka wave your hand) at them and they'll leave. So, I wanted to see what would happen if I did that to him. So, I did and I stood there for a good few moments in front of this crowd of kids and then he just shakes his head at me. Awkward!

But it resulted in this awesome picture, so I'm ok:

Aww, he didn't get the memo but there's always next time! Let's hope that he knows how to do it this time around.

About 5 years back, we were having dinner at 50's Prime Time Cafe and I had the need to blow my nose. I am not a fan of having someone blowing their nose in my ear when eating in a restaurant so I wouldn't want to do that to others so I walked back to the restroom. Walked in, blew my nose, and went back to the table - was gone for all about 30 seconds.

Now, here it comes. Our waiter, "Cousin Dave", seems to come out of nowhere and asks me in a fairly loud voice "So, what was the color of the soap?" I thought inside, oh crap, this is not good. Thinking cleaverly I answered "Blueish Green" thinking it had to be one of them and I just doubled my chances of getting off the hook. "NOPE, GO BACK AND WASH YOUR HANDS AND THEN TELL ME WHAT COLOR IT IS" he yelled at the top of his lungs. Now, the whole place is looking at me and now thinking I went and did my business and didn't wash my hands afterwads (which just the thought skeeves me out when people don't do that). Needless to say I was embarrassed and that doesn't happen easily.

BTW, the color of the soap is white.

Oh thankfully I haven't had to experience something like that...oh I would have been extremely embarrassed. I don't handle embarrassment in public settings very well so let's hope I never have any stories to share with all of you!!!

Great story. I have heard them do that to people while I was there. Years ago, Uncle Tim got my whole family for not washing up before sitting down at the dinner table. For me, the servers really add to the experience and keep me coming back.

I was a cast member back in the early 80's and I worked in Bear country at the Hungry Bear, Mile Long Bar & Tom Sawyer Island. MY cousin came down from San Fransisco for a couple of days. Tony wanted to go to Disneyland, but I was scheduled to work at the H.B. , so I called in sick and we went to Disneyland. 25,000 people were expected to attend that day. I figured NO ONE would see me with so many people there. Well was I wrong, Tony and I just came out of Space Mountain after about 10-15 rides. I heard someone call my name in a somewhat loud and irratating voice, I turned around and it was my boss! Boy was she upset! She wanted me in her office 1st thing the next day. I showed up the next day and was asked to resign. Well what a lesson for a teenager to learn. I've never called in sick and went to work again.

Re: Eating lunch

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and just having a fun time at MGM and ate lunch at the one restaurant that had everything mismatched - I think it was Italian food. Anyways, we got our food and were eating and she poked her fork into her seafood salad and pulled out calimari. Well, she started laughing and made it do a dance and even said, "Look a calamari kick line." The restaurant was almost empty and before we knew it, the head chef came out to make sure everything was okay. It was a little embarrassing, but it was also really funny at the same time. She was mortified, though!

My 'moment' was in AK. I had just ridden Kali River Rapids and was soaked from head to foot. When I exited the ride I saw my husband waiting with his back to us. So I wandered up behind him put both arms around his waist squeezed him tight to make him wet too and said "Guess what I've just been on?" To my absolute horror it was a total stranger wearing a similar shirt to my husband. The guy was amused but not half as amused as my husband and son who were waiting on a near by bench eating ice creams.

I am blushing now at the very thought of it

Now that sounds like something I would do to you, but on purpose......I might have to try this when I go to a Park......I just need to find someone with really long hair.

My embarrassing moment at Disney just so happens to be one the best memories that I have of the Disney parks. Right before I moved to Florida..i lived in Ohio. My family was vacationing down in Disney (well business for my parents..relaxation for me) anyway, I had a friend that I hadn't talked to for many years working for Disney's college program. Well, she found out that I was in Orlando via an away message on AIM (okay so this was a few years ago)..and she called me out of the blue when I was down there. Well, we met up for dinner..yadda yadda yadda..the embarrassing part comes in the next day when she maingated me into the parks and we went around the Magic Kingdom together because she had the day off. Well, we were on the Haunted Mansion..and I was pretending to be really scared of the not so scary ghosts. Well, she played along, and she reached her arm around the back of my head and tapped my shoulder..acting as if it was a ghost...well I acted surprise and scared..and next thing I know..my sandal goes flying off my foot into the ride somewhere...so when it came to the end of the ride..I had to walk around the park with only one sandal on..until finally a cast member helped me out by giving me a free pair of Disney sandals. The friend I was with..had to go to lost and found in the wee hours of the morning to go retrieve my sandal out of the grave yard scene. Why this is my best memory is because the friend I met up with..ended up being my girlfriend..moving in with me..and is my soul mate for life! I guess she couldn't resist my smoothness : )

I think one of mine was on test track, this was I think before fast pass - my mom, dad and me had been queueing for ages and just when we got to the front just as we were about to go in that little room where they show you what tests they are going to put you through, my mom rushed in there and I turned around to make sure my dad was with us and he was standing there with his face pressed against that wire fencing completely asleep (lol)

Why??????? Was it a bet? Did you fall and accidentally get it in your mouth? Or did you just want to see if Disneyland dirt tasted more magical than your backyard dirt?
