This actually took some of it away from me, as I could see the wires and even the apparatus for moving her. You could always see the wires on the other floating objects too, but seeing them on the centerpiece of the whole room is more distracting then seeing them on some additional themeing that is peripheral.

I also love the new attic scene. I think it's really creepy. I would also love to see some sort of special effects at night around the mansion. Some holograms would be great. Or maybe some fog machines spewing out fog at night around the grounds to give it that spooky feel. That would be cool. :D

I didn't see any holograms or smoke... but has there always been a flash of lightning? We had just out of the exit when there was a loud clap of (fake) thunder and a flash of light which lit up the whole house. It made me jump.

I also don't remember the mansion being taht dark at night either. Didn't the windows and the conservatory used to be lit? :?

edit... oops sorry... i didn't realize this was the Disneyland thread.

All good suggestion. I do like the holographic Idea. It could also be a ghost hanging off the second floor balcony or flies out the window into the air, or one that shoes up in the Carraige at night.

There are so many places this affect could be used.

Maybe someday.

How about a gift shop. I know that they would make money on it. Disney needs to keep with tradition and dump riders into a HM gift shop.

Well, there is a shop called Le Bat en Rouge where they sell some merchandise from Haunted Mansion and the Nightmare Before Christmas though it's mostly TNBC.
