The full block party bash performance. The rain prevented the performers from leavving their floats. We didn't have time to catch the parade another day.

Oh I totally missed out on the Muppets...I was so sad I never did make it back there again!! Next time after TSM I'm totally going to ride the Muppets and really enjoy it.

Journey Into Imagination

Post by usetonamick » Feb Sat 14, 2009 10:21 am

One of the biggest mistakes WDW has made - Re-Vamping Journey Into Imagination - Should bring back the old one! The new one is truly weak -

Wonders of Life. I regret that every single time I'm at WDW and walk past that pavilion. I was at WDW in 1997, 1998, and 2005 and never did get to experience anything in the pavilion.... makes me cry when I walk past it.

That's probably what I should've said. :D But WoL is the one I regret most. Especially since, unlike Horizons, WoL is still sitting there.

The Swan Boats would have been cool, they were shut down before I was a sparkle in my parents' eyes - they were shut down before my parents were a sparkle in each others eyes. But to take a leisurely boat ride around the castle would have been awesome. Too bad they couldn't resolve the issues they had with them.
They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

I remember them from when I was veeeeeerry small. I seem to recall riding around slowly in the sun there wasn't so much fun. But then I was, like, three, so maybe it was just not exciting enough to hold my attention.

I actually missed quite a few rides that I usually get to see when at Disney, because the main person in our party has some health issues and we had to take it slow, at his pace.

In a way it was nice because it was less hectic, but I also hated that I missed its a small world, Ellen's Energy Adventure (cause it was closed for rennovations), Lights Motors Action (which I have *NOT* seen at all yet), and O Canada (I have not seen the new version yet).

Attraction I Didn't Get to See

Post by DeltaDreamflyer » Apr Mon 06, 2009 11:33 pm

Although I visited WDW 3 times when it was open, I never went on Horizons. My parents and I didn't think we would like it too much. Now I really wish I had tried that ride at least once, because so many fans have raved about it and even made websites dedicated to it. Besides I downloaded the entire musical score from the Internet a couple years ago, and in my opinion it's a reak work of art!

I agree... I miss Body Wars. No one else liked it, because it threw you around a bunch, but I miss it and the entire pavilion so much.... As well as Horizons. The loading and the fighting over which ending you would have with everyone in your car... (well... with me and my brothers that was the case at least....)

I never saw Timekeeper. I never really knew of its existence until Subsonic. This is very weird, since I often visited Disneyworld. I guess I just never liked Tomorrowland all that much.

I forgot about those! That's another thing that my parents never took us on, for some reason. I'm sorry I missed it.

WOW, I remember the Sky Buckets, I remember vividly riding on those when I was 3, we were there with my grandparents too, I remember my grandmother got so scared everytime we'd pass over one of the poles b/c it would shake the bucket. Good memories! Although I don't know if I'd go on those today if they still existed, I'm so afraid of rides like that!

Missed Attractions

Post by DaRkNeSs » Apr Wed 08, 2009 5:37 pm

Since my first visit in 1985, (even having to consult with good ole mom) being 30 :) I have not missed any attractions since my first visit, world of motion, horizons, sky buckets and Mr.Toads some that I miss! But as I thought about this question really made me start to miss attractions. Cranium Command and Timekeeper are two that I miss. I really miss the bike simulation that was in wonders of life where you are riding the bike threw different Disney Parks! Always loved those! :donald:
Look for the Bear necessities!!! Trust in me, just in me Shut your eyes and trust in me You can sleep safe and sound Knowing I am around!!

There are probably MANY but the two that stand out are Timekeeper and the one that really gets me Alien Encounter...(I really wish I was able to see that one!)
