I told my DW that the center didn't sound right. Being a native New Yorker (born and raised in Coney Island) It seemed one was as good as the other!!actually, that's Carnegie Hall.
How do you get to Disney World?

I've driven everytime I've been there I've driven. When I used to live in Boca, we'd drive up on the weekends. The few times I've been since I moved to Texas I've driven also. Twice we drove down to see my family in WPB and the drove back up to Orlando. The other time we flew into WPB and the rented a car and drove up. Only 3 hours from my grandparents house in WPB to the parks.
Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle until the ride comes to a full and complete stop. Thank you, and enjoy the rest of your day here at Walt Disney World.

Since I live in Florida the 7 hour drive is nothing for me to make considering my abnormal fear of flying!! I really enjoy driving and having my own car at Disney to get around the resort in anyways.

It's not that abnormal. I know of at least four friends that don't like flying. One because he can't get his head around the mechanics of it.....he says it isn't possible to fly (I think he is full of something). Another just hates the fact that he can't get out whenever he wants, like in a car. I keep telling him that if he was in a car with me he wouldn't be getting out whenever he wants to, and if he tries good luck to him (the car will be doing 80mph by the time he gets the door open). The others I'm not sure exactly but they REALLY don't like flying, meh. I like flying, puts me to sleep, all that white noise and the vibration of the engines.........so,so sleepy.........................jenjolt wrote: considering my abnormal fear of flying!!

A 938 mile plane ride from Newark Liberty to Orlando McCoy. After this a small car ride from the airport to WDW in whatever rental car we get.

I don't believe I've ever seen this post! We've always flown! We've never really had the time to waste in the car. Plus, I hate car rides! Anything more than an hour, I start to lose it! I always hated the drive home from Purdue when I was in school and I'd come home on breaks. The plane ride is long enough to wait for the Magic!!!

I definitely agree. Whenever I hit traffic and it takes me an hour to get to school, I just think that I could have been almost halfway to WDW and I have only gone 22 miles. It just feels like time wasted when you are sitting in the car.boilerbabe wrote:I don't believe I've ever seen this post! We've always flown! We've never really had the time to waste in the car.
