Best Disney cartoons after 1990

Post by Jacca5660 » Feb Sun 22, 2009 9:58 am

I have the complete collection of Duck Tales and Tailspins. Beside Chip and Dales Rescue Rangers and Dark Wing Duck, I feel these are the best cartoons Disney has put out since 1990. I just like that they are not CG and they have a great feel to them. It seems Disney took pride in them. I just can't understand why they never put more of them out. I do realize that Disney stopped producing the when Eisner took complete control of Disney. It's just IMHO looks like something Disney could build on.

Ducktales was my absolute favorite Disney cartoon to watch growing up. I was tempted to get the DVD at Disneyland but I didn't. I may next time. I know I watched a lot of Disney cartoons like Darkwing Duck, Gummi Bears, TaleSpin and many others but Ducktales will always be my favorite.

Chip N Dale was my favorite, but we had the Duck Tales movie on VHS and I couldn't get enough of it. I distinctly remember Gummi Bears being my "stay home sick" tv program, because all I can think about regarding that show is sitting on my couch miserable watching it in a fever state (and also the Phantom Boats / Gummi Bear boat remake during The Disney Afternoon event at Disneyland). But yes, Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers is the best. I even have the theme song set as my ringtone right now!!!! "There's not case too big, no case too small, whatever you need just call..."

I'd have to vote for "How To Hook Up Your Home Theater" starring Goofy, but that's only because it gives such a nod to the classic Goofy shorts.
