A lot has changed since you were last there. You will definitely want to check out Animal Kingdom which for you will be your first time there. I would advise going early in the morning as that park tends to get pretty hot during the day. Secondly, the best time I have found to go on the safari ride is either early in the morning or right before a rain storm. You will definitely want to check out Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, and It's a Bug's life just to name a few.

As for Epcot, get a fastpass for Soarin' early in the day and be sure to check out Mission Space and Test Track. Illuminations is also pretty good.

DHS has gotten some great attractions. There is the Rock'n Roller Coaster... if you like rides like that. There is also Toy Story Midway Mania which I would advise getting the fastpass for first thing in the morning.

MK: New attractions all around.

A lot has changed in the world including many new resorts. Be sure to check it out. Secondly, make sure you make reservations for your dinners 90 days in advance!

I'm not quite sure crowd wise is the week of Thanksgiving is the best...yes you will see the holiday decorations but crowds tend to perk up right around that holiday. Is your vacation time flexible?? Can you go the week after...if not November is still a great time and will be a lower crowd time. Temperatures won't be too warm and you will have a great time!!

I agree with the other poster and the suggestions for the rides definitely utilize the Fastpass option!!

No mention of tower of terror? blasphemy!

Also, maybe you heard that the week after Thanksgiving is really light on crowds. Parks tend to crowd up on all Holidays. I'd definitely suggest a week after, or early December for avoiding crowds.

Opps my bad. I wasn't sure exactly when in 1994 they went. But that has now been improved on also.

Great time of year to go!

There are so many new things...where would I start! The other posts have already done some great mentions! Def. want to check out AK, the Flights of Wonder Show is amazing and you don't want to miss Exp. Everest!!! Check this park out first, it's usually the first to close.

What type of resort are you planning on staying at?!

You'll get to check out the refurbs!

At DHS: Toy Story Mania is a must do! Get your Fast Pass first though. Tower of Terror is my all time fav. here! You'll need to repeat this attraction at least 3 x's, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is amazing too!

In EPCOT the new Spaceship Earth is awesome and of course Soarin! Like Len90 said, get your fast pass early for that one! The Seas is now with Nemo Friends, if you have any divers in your group, Dive Quest is awesome, you can dive in the 7 million gallon tank!

There are alot of new additions in MK!

Any other ques. just post em here!!! :D

I love WDW during Christmas. Yes it's "VERY" crowded, but you just can't beat how it feels. Funny enough you might get some chilly temps that make that hot chocolate even better. If you're there for New Years eve, get to EPCOT early. Disney rolls out the Armageddon fireworks barge. When it goes off the barges goes down 3 feet into the water, what a blast. There are only 2 times they use it, on New Years eve and the 4th of July. It's a must see!

Moved to Trip Planning & Reports as I think people would look for this subject here.

the week OF Thanksgiving probably isn't the BEST time to go. kids are getting out of school right about then. the week AFTER Thanksgiving through the week BEFORE Christmas is probably the best time, as crowds are a little lighter, and it's still considered "Value" season, so you'll save some money there too...
