Mrs. Future Guy and I have a small place, and it's not really Disneyed at all, unless you count a couple of the pictures of us at the parks that hang on the wall. I wish I had a some prints of the Bob McCall paintings that used to be in the Horizons queue area, but I doubt very much that the Mrs. would let me hang them in the living room. :)

Actually this may be the best place to ask. if I get no nibble I may make a seperate post later..

What I want are some sheets to go on my bed that are related to Disney, but are not for little kids, so no Cars or Incredibles or whatever- something more generic, like maybe sheets with Mickey heads or something.

I have actually been looking on and off for years but I have not found anything Disney but adult.

My bed is either Queen or Full- I forget. :)

If anyone has any links or places to check I will be eternally grateful.

OOh, those brown Disney sheets really are just what I am looking for! It is a shame that they are a tad on the expensive side, but I may wait to see if I can find them on property when I go in a couple of weeks.

Any ideas on the best places to find those at WDW? isnt there a store at DTD close to the Christmas store and little carousel?

Hmm, let's see. The little girls room is themed to Pink Disney Princess, the boys room is part Cars/Spiderman/Speed Racer, and we've got a bathroom themed to Nemo. Appropriate, no?

Okay, I know I promised these a few weeks ago, but I have been busy. Here are pictures of the disneyed house here in Gainesville. Well, it's more Mickey...I wanted more pictures, but the owner came home before I could get more.

Now that is my dream home for when I get older. I wonder how much that big statue at the front door cost? Was that one of the Mickey statues from the 50th celebration?

Sorry mods, I resized the images and added links so you can view them full size.

It was quite a surprise when I drove past that house the other week. I was totally not expecting it. I believe the bronze mickey head was once at DTD back when it was Disney Village. The little topiaries surrounding the HVAC also continue to the left of the front door around the side of the house. I wish my house could look that awesome.

if that's the OUTSIDE, imagine the INSIDE. you should ask the owner for a tour sometime...

I have considered writing a letter to the owner, but in this day and age, I know I wouldn't trust me if I got my letter and I would rather avoid the embarrassment of a restraining order. It's bad enough I took pictures of their house.

I love the topiaries they did. I wonder if they had a landscaper do that or did it themselves? Judging by the other stuff in the yard I assume they did it themselves. And I agree with JS3901, you should ask for a tour.......Oh and tell them you are with the site, see if they heard of it. But if you break something we will disavow any knowledge of your existence.
