And that melody is so catchy!!Siriuslydead wrote:I agree, MSEP is definitely a classic. Probably because it's been around for so long, longer than the other ones, and it has always been a family favorite. I don't think it needs lasers or fireworks. It's brilliant without them.

That's another thing! That melody is extremely catchy! Whenever it plays I hum every single part. Not too many people know the whole song by heart, but I have learned it, sadly enough.Lion Sleeps Tonight wrote:And that melody is so catchy!!

That's not sad, because then I would be sad too. But that's cool. I know pretty much the whole tune by heart also, but can't always remember which float it coincides with.Siriuslydead wrote:That's another thing! That melody is extremely catchy! Well I mean 'sad' in a good way, like we're awesome Disney freaks. And I'm proud of that. I love being a Disneyaholic. I'm sure there are other people here, but you, my best friend, and myself are the only ones I know who know the whole tune by heart. Anyone else?Lion Sleeps Tonight wrote:That's not sad, because then I would be sad too. But that's cool. I think so. The version I've heard is only 5 minutes. It has an intro in French and a nice Christmas-ish style.Siriuslydead wrote:I have not. Any good? Worth recommending?Lion Sleeps Tonight wrote:Done and done. Btw, have you heard the DLP christmas version of the MSEP?

Don't know. It didn't show up when I searched "electrical parade." I'm pretty sure you can get it on the IRC channel.Siriuslydead wrote:That sounds cool. I'd like to hear that. My biggest complaint is that there really aren't enough nighttime events. Half of the time MK closes at 7:00 so you really don't get much there. F! and Illuminations are the only thing that I can recall that consistently runs every night (someone double-check me here).
I don't have the patience to goto F! twice during my WDW vacations due to the crowd.
I didn't vote for Illuminations since we really never stayed at Epcot late enough to see it (I think once we were eating there in Mexico and was able to listen to it, but didn't really watch.)
I do really enjoy Spectromagic in a weird way -- the music and the glowing electric faces that the characters wear just kinda sink into my senses more than anything else
Though I voted for Wishes just because it is fireworks! The music could really be better though. It seems as though it is pieced-meal'd together without any continuity.
