I honestly do not care for either team. Since my Panthers didn't get in, it doesn't matter to me.

But I will be watching for the commercials, if nothing else.

Wow, with my vote it's 50/50.

I definitely DON'T want the Steelers to win. We Seattlites are still sore about Superbowl XL. :x

Congrats to the Steelers! My uncle, cousin and friend who are all diehard steelers fans are real happy right now. It was a good game besides the stupid amount of penalties. Just let them play the football game
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

What a game and Tomlin said it well when he said that the Steelers play 60 minutes of football. The Cardinals played a super game.
City schools are on a two hour delay today.....something about that just doesn't seem right. I guess they were trying to be nice to the kids that stayed up late.

I'm not into football so I didn't care who won, really. But is it just me, or was the final score pretty close for football?

I disagree with that move. What kind of message are they sending to the kids? I understand the excitement, but life has to go on. In the working world these kids would not have an excuse to go to work 2 hours late.

figmentaholic: I will say I was quite happy with the commercials this year. I found myself laughing at a lot of them.

Congrats to the Steelers, though I didn't watch the game on account of being in Disneyland. I caught the last 35 seconds when I went to a friends' house for barbecue.

My two favorites were the Bud Light, the guy getting thrown out the window, and the Mr./Mrs. Potato Head. Wierdly enough I don't remember what that commercial was for...was it for the car?

I watched for the game and not the commercials. It was one of the better games in my memory. Last year was the best! Can you tell I'm a Giants fan?

Or maybe you just hate the Patriots. I am a Jets fan, and I rooted for the Giants and celebrated when they won. IMHO, that was one of the best drives in the Super Bowl. Do you remember the Steve Smith catch earlier in that drive... and the big catch and run by Boss?

Needless to say the Steelers had an impressive drive, but it was helped by the poor defensive effort by the Cardinals.

The Giants had their drive against (what was at the time) the "BEST" defense in the NFL. I grew up a Giants fan, but Joe Willie was always my Idol. His last football card is hanging in a frame next to my bed.

I completely agree with you on the school delay. Yesterday was the celebration parade and there were soooo many kids there and it was at 12 noon. One local news channel was saying that we are having math class back here and the math problem was that Superbowl XLII = 6. Not an excuse for missing school in my book.
