How many WDW restaurants have you eaten at?

WOW, I listed out ONLY the table service places we've eaten at since I don't really count the counters or food carts as "restaurants" and was amazed that I got up to 32 places! Waaaay more than I guessed at before I started counting them all up.

Great thread, makes me go back and think about the ones that were from a long time ago.....maybe get back to them on the next trip!

Not including any of the carts or a bakery, but including table sit downs and counter services where you get a full meal: 49

We try to do at least one new one each trip.

We eat at the Garden Grill and The Columbia Harbor house every time! We also love the Hoop-De Doo( but thats every other time!)

I know, right? I'm amazed I've ever been on any of the rides.

In all seriousness, though, that's spread over 25+ trips in my 31 year lifetime, and more recently I've made a point of trying new restaurants on trips for something new to do. And there's a few closed, and a few we went once and will never go back; not very many are repeats. It does add up, though. I was really surprised there were that many. And that's still not counting snack places. I shudder to think how much money I've spent in Disney restaurants over the years...

What really surprises me, though, is there are still at least a dozen places I can name off the top of my head I want to try and haven't gotten to. Used to be there were 99 restaurants on property. I guess that must be higher nowadays.

Because of the expense of eating on property. It seems every meal for 4' no mater what meal, cost at least $50. We eat at Cracker Barrel on (advantage driving to WDW) 192 or 27, It not just because of cost either, it's just nice to have something that feels like home cooking every once in a while.

Geez, I totally missed DTD, that's 5 more sit-downs...bringing the sit-down (server required) total to 37.

Now I think I need to go and count up the counters as well to see how much weight Disney has made me gain over the years.

Is CRT worth two credits off the dining plan? We have never done it before and my son really wants to eat in the Castle. I was thinking of surprising him but I don't want to be dissapointed in the food there.

Several years ago, before they went to all character dining, I would have said a big YES. They used to have awesome food in there at dinner. Stilton-crusted gratin ... *drool*.

Now, though, I dunno. I've heard a lot of bad reviews of the food, but I think most people go for the 'event', so I suspect it depends on which is most important to you.

Yeah, I can't honestly say I remember having any of the sit down meals when it was my parents taking me and my brother (except King Stefan), and only a few from when they were just taking me. Most of the dining adventures I've had have been post getting married, party of two. Little bit cheaper that way. Cracker Barrel does rock, though. Mmmbiscuits.

CHICKEN FRIED STEAK!!!!!! I have family on Staten Island that travel to Allen Town just for Cracker Barrel.

Bwehehehe. Lots of my friends and family back home (in frozen Canadia) envy my ability to go to Cracker Barrel whenever I want. I know a few who'll cross the border for chicken n' biscuits.

Vaguely back on topic, they posted some pics of the Trail's End breakfast buffet on the DIS last week. I wanted to drive there right then... *drool*.

Wow some of you have really eaten at a lot of places I'm in awe!! I've just now started to appreciate Disney Dining. This last trip I was on the Deluxe Plan and I really enjoyed it.
