I've only been to Universal Studios Hollywood in my lifetime since my step-dad works at the Citywalk and is able to get is free tickets every year. It's been a while since I did go though since it was before the big backlot fire back in June of last year.

Both parks in Orlando. But since you didn't have a choice for "Orlando Resort" I chose Studios Orlando.

I'm a fan of both companies.

I have to choose Universal. Not only did we take our little mini honeymoon there, but now they have the Simpsons ride. I sure hope I can ride that while I am down there!

LOL the simpsons ride so funny xD! I was so excited when i first went on it. I was sad that it took over back to the future. The simpsons made up for it though :D

*sigh* I have not had a chance to ride it yet, and I am a *HUGE* and I do mean HUGE Simpsons fan. Everyone I know who has ridden it loves it, and it is eating me up that I cant get down there to ride it. But there is no way I can afford a ticket for mostly just one ride, so until I win the lottery or something I will have to hear how cool it is from others.

I've visited Universal 3 x's in my life. It's fun, but you really cannot compare it to WDW. I went with my boyfriend at the time (2002) and we stayed at their resort and I was truly disappointed. Give me WDW any day!!!! :P

I would say Universal Studios Orlando. We used to always do a full day in Universal, but after a while it just didn't hold up to a day at WDW. Islands of Adventure I find is made too much for the roller coaster enthusiast with Seuss landing trying to be a toontown. IMO, the best part of any Universal park is the Citywalk.

I've been to Universal Studios Orlando, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Universal: Islands of Adventure. My favorite is IOA, I love the coasters and Spiderman!

I've been to California Universal and Florida's. Enjoyed Florida's more but did not care for Islands of Adventure at all. We did go right when it was first opened. Many rides would break down after waiting 75 minutes to ride them! Kicked out of line only to find out that 10 minutes later the ride was operating again! It happened three times in one day and we have not been back since. I hope things have changed a bit but sometimes I read online that they still have breakdown problems. I'm sure all parks do at times but we must have picked the lucky day to visit!

I pretty much voted for Islands of Adventure solely for the Spiderman ride. That ride is incredible. I haven't been to orlando in ten years so I'm not sure if WDW has any rides similar to that.

You should have also added an option for "I'd rather be dipped in boiling oil than endure another minute in one of those parks." A few months ago, I got a coupon in the mail from Universal for free admission for me and $25 for a two-park ticket for up to six guests. I thought, "what the hey." I was intending to go to WDW, but since the Universal deal was so good, I went there instead with two friends. The staff is unfriendly, rude and not helpful. The attractions are meh at best and it's so small. The food was mediocre too, and don't get me started on the counter service restaurants (45 minutes in line; all I'm saying). We did the entire park in four hours and moved on to IOA. Yes, the themeing and attractions are better at IOA, but the service isn't. The only good thing to come out of the whole day was as we were leaving a woman stopped me and asked if I would take a survey. I agreed and told them specific side-by-side comparisons why I like Disney better.
They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Where the heck did you go to eat?!?!? I've never waited more than 5 min in line for food anywhere at Uni.

Hands down the best Universal Park is Islands of Adventure. Mix of thrill rides and shows. I love Universal Studios Hollywood better than Universal Studios Orlando tho...

Spiderman, Dueling Dragons (how LOOOOONG is that queue line?), Hulk all fabulous rides.... Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls is pretty good too. =)
