Well you know the old saying "only boring people get bored"? He's a little game we all can play while stuck in those long queues at the park.
It's a variation of 20 Questions. One person picks a park feature. It can be anything from a specific droid in Star Tours or a lighting effect on Space Mountain or the petrified tree stump, or any of the countless little features that can be found in Disneyland. Everyone else asks yes or no questions until the feature is determined. Then the person that figured it out gets to go. You be surprised how much faster the line time goes and how much more you learn about the parks when your eyes are wide open looking for little features to stump your friends/family.
Try it next time you're in the park. We'll probably play it a bit when we go as a group on May 21st.

Usually when Sockfire and I play we tell which land it's in. We've learned over time that those questions always get asked, so we eliminate those questions by jsut giving a land.
Here's an example:
Subsonic: "It's in fantasyland"
Sockfire: "Can you touch it?"
"Yes"
"Is it interactive?"
"Yes"
"Is it plastic?"
"No"
"Is it Metal?"
"Yes"
"Is it part of Peter Pan's Flight?"
"No"
"Is it part of an attraction?"
"No"
"Is it near the carousel?"
"Yes"
"Is it the Sword in the Stone"
"Yes!"
"Good one, pukeface!"

It would be even better if it allowed you to move to the front of the line ...ha ha ha
I am a people watcher so I love to observe people, epecially when they don't know it and they are acting a bit irritated about standing in line. Also it's a great time for my boyfriend to massage my neck and shoulders...ha ha ha YAH like that is gonna happen
I will try your game this Christmas as I know we will most definately be standing in line

The 20 questions game is a great idea. My wife and I usually:
1) just continue conversations that we had going on when we got in line
2) Stare off into space
3) Wish for a fastpass
4) People watch
5) I spout information that I've learned about the ride (past/present/future info)
6) Wonder how long we will wait
7) Ask the other if they want ice-cream and would they want to get it?
I hate waiting in line. I'd rather be walking.

I've never tried playing a game, but maybe that's what we'll do.
Usually we:
just chat
watch other people
comment about those who we're looking at
say how fun of a time we're having while the losers at home are missing out
worry about not getting enough rides done
stare into space or at a prop and daydream
maybe talk to other guests- if they look amiable
complain, whine
all very fun things.

You called? Anyways, I like the 20 questions. We usually plan what is next or analize the queue - being with my sis who is a theatre tech director and mechanical engineer that isn't exactly hard to do! Since we are usually there when the crowds are lite the waits aren't too bad...

I am usually by myself, I'm such a loner among friends.

Anyway... I'm the person who looks around or else I go deep into my own mind, I usually have a notebook so I can write things down. But Disney has things to do on some rides.

we usually pull out the park map (as we've only been to WDW) and plan what we're going to do or where we're going to go next. Either that or we'll just people watch while waiting.

It makes you wonder about the people you're watching, and the people who are watching you watching other people.

I always make sure I don't pick my nose just in case someone is watching me

It's kinda hard to watch people when your in your own world. But it would be scary if someone was watching me while I was not "here."

Play Disney ringtones on your mobile phone and see if you can get the crowd to sing along!

We peoplewatch. There's no better place than a Disney theme park for peoplewatching.

Even funnier when you get busted staring while people watching!

Yeah, but sometimes you can't help staring...

That's why I recommend--*ta-da!*--a pair of really dark sunglasses! My wife and I always go well-equipped.
