Story on Splash...I thought it was just Brer Rabbit doing this rebel teenager thing and trying to find the 'laughing place' but all the while there's still no place like home.cruiseguy7011 wrote:I didn't know that Indy was a mountain.
I'm stuck between space and splash. But I chose space because I never saw america sings and I really don't get what the story is on splash.

So, why did you choose space mountain if it's not your favorite mountain, much less your favorite attraction? Just wondering...DisneyManInSeattle wrote:Big Thunder Mountain Railroad all the way. Matterhorn is a close second. The fact that space mountain is indoors and dark lowers the enjoyment for me. (even if my avatar is SM right now

Being that it is reopening for th 50th I thought it would be cool. If you notice the image is linked to the Disneyland web site -- I browsed the site looking for images that worked for my avatar and it was either this or Indy.why did you choose space mountain if it's not your favorite mountain, much less your favorite attraction? Just wondering...
I wish these forums allowed me to upload an image vs. linking to one.

what attraction are you looking for for an avatar? I can find/get you just about anything you need, and you can link to it directly from my photobucket album.
And, to get this thread back on topic, I like Splash Mountain or Space Mountain at WDW...

I just did a search for Splash Mountain on Google Images and this is one that came up. I didn't even look at the websites these pics came from (besides the Misc pic, that's from Disney.com financial report page).
But, in any case, the link places the pic orginating on this page dedicated to SpM and Song of the South.

Thanks. Yeah the BTMR engine is a good one!
For those interested, here is the link to the site that has hand-drawn (and some computer/aerial) pictures of different DL/WDW rides. Kinda a neat site:
