THe spitting camels outside of Aladdin's Magic Carpets were originally used for two different uses in WDW. What were they used for?

The only time I can think of them being used was during Aladdin's parade too. I really can't remember when or where else they were used unless this is like a trick question and you just mean they were used in front of Aladdin's Magic Carpets.

The Aladdin Parade and out in front of the Animation Character Breakfast that used to be where Playhouse Disney Live On Stage is now.
