If you're a coffee lover, you NEED to try some of this stuff! Dunkin Donuts has got nuthin over this Kona Coffee. And I'm a bit of a coffee snop, I only drink Starbuck's! And I must say, this Kona Coffee is just as good, if not a little bit better! I'm enjoying a cup right now as I bake my Pumpkin Pies for tomorrow!!! Happy Turkey Day everyone!!!

theBIGyowski, I ran the Disney 1/2 in '05 and it was amazing!!! We've also run Minnie's Marathon and Tower of Terror 13K. No one does finisher medals like Disney! Plus, you can't beat the scenery! I hope to run another 1/2 there, I've had one injury after another. But, I jogged 3 miles yesterday, so I'm hopeful!!! Sorry, I got off topic!!!

I'm going to order my Kona Coffee today from First Roasters! :D

I have to do decaf cause of my heart thingy, caffiene would put me in the hospital and I hate hospitals :D I was just in the ER last week for my heart thingy.... come to think about it, I got coffee at D&D that morning, but from the drive through so I didn't make 100% they gave me decaf...........hummmmmm LOL I do have to watch them pour it and you would be surprised how many times they do it wrong and I catch them and say "opps I need decaf please" they are always like "OH gosh sorry"

I will have to try the Kona Coffee only if it comes in Decaf  gonna ck to see if First Roasters has a website so I can ck it out.

WOW!! I couldn't afford this stuff the way I drink coffee. I'm wondering how different it is from the Kona coffee I get at the local grocery store for 7.99/lb.

No, they don't. I looked the other day. I buy Sweetwater Organic Coffee, which is produced here in Gainesville, but if this Kona Coffee is as good as everyone says, I may need to check it out.

Is it the First Roasters in Deland? I couldn't find one in Orlando proper.

They did sell the Kona coffe in Decaf at the Poly. I've also seen it in stores in Decaf. as well.

The First Roasters did not have a web site and I do believe it was in Deland, there aren't any in Olrando that I could see.

If anyone else does try it, let me know what you think!!! We're crazy about the stuff! :D

I absolutely second that. I am strictly a Starbucks drinker as well and we just came back from WDW and had the Kona Press from Kona Cafe. It's the 100% Kona blend served in the french press - unbelievable. We told our server we liked it strong and man it was good. A few nights later we had dinner at 'Ohana and we asked the server if he could get one of the presses from the Kona Cafe and he was glad to do so. I think we started trouble as the other tables around us started asking how we got the presses.

Anyway, sorry I did not see this thread before we left for our trip, I would have smuggled a few bags back for you. Although, if we can get the same stuff for cheaper I'll take that over nothing. Thanks for the info.

Happy Holidays!

Coffee tastes incredibly better brewed in a french press. That is the only way I brew at home.

I'm thinking I need to get a french press now!!! When we've eaten at Narcoossee's they also do the french press and it was out of this world!

Thanks 99soulz for saying you'd have smuggled some back for me! :D
