Got mine yesterday - online.

I wish it would show up on order tracking, though, just so I could feel better about it! ;-)

I finally got the order to show up on the tracking option.

I see that it is unavailable again. It was really weird how the page showed varying shipping dates of 1 week, 3 weeks and 4 weeks. I wonder how long it will really take... :?:

My order says "In distribution center". I guess that means it's shipping soon. :P

I stayed up all night and ordered mine right when it came out a few days ago! I'm soo excited to get it- :D

Oh yeah, for all those unlucky ducks who were unable to order the Limited Edition boxed set in time, your in luck! Walt Disney Records was so overwhelmed with the response that they came up with a solution, a "Special Edition". This Special Edition is NOT NUMBERED and will also include the “Walt Disney Takes You to Disneyland” vinyl – with the vinyl itself pressed in standard black vinyl. This Special Edition will be exclusive to Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disney Direct. So once the 5000 copies of the Limited Edition are gone, you will be able to purchase the Special Edition UN-NUMBERED, with BLACK VINYL at the same price. (Sadly, this GREATLY lowers the worth of my Lmited Edition set)

Here is an easy break down –

A MUSICAL HISTORY OF DISNEYLAND

LIMITED EDITION (SRP $125)
Limited to 5,000 copies. Available exclusively at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and DisneyDirect while supplies last.
• Red Cloth Covered Box
• Numbered (5,000 units ONLY)
• Reproduction of “Walt Disney Takes You to Disneyland” pressed in GOLDEN Vinyl
• 72 Page Hard Back Cloth Covered Book
• Hard Back Cloth Covered CD Holder

SPECIAL EDITION (SRP $125)
Open Ended edition. Available exclusively at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and DisneyDirect. More will be made if necessary.
• Red Cloth Covered Box
• This edition is NOT NUMBERED.
• Reproduction of “Walt Disney Takes You to Disneyland” pressed in Standard BLACK Vinyl
• 72 Page Hard Back Cloth Covered Book
• Hard Back Cloth Covered CD Holder

STANDARD EDITION (SRP $125)
Open Ended edition. Available Nation Wide September 2005
• Red Cloth Covered Box
• 72 Page Hard Back Cloth Covered Book
• Hard Back Cloth Covered CD Holder

Thanks Mr. Randy Thornton!

I have two on order, but I was still not completely trusting. Anyway, they had 24 on main street in the music shop when they opened at noon. When I got there at 12:30, they had three. I bought two of those. So, now if I get two in the mail, which is likely, then I don't know what I am going to do. I guess some family and friends will be getting nice gifts. I just couldn't pass them up when I saw them.

Amazing how the status of this item changes on disneydirect. Half the time it’s available, then randomly it’s sold out. Maybe their inventory control is just that bad, or they are releasing as they go.

In any case it seems like they still have Limited Editions available, you just have to keep checking.

Maybe Disney will realize how much of a demand there is for this kind of stuff and hire me to do Subsonic Radio full time with all of their assets!

That sure would be nice as your site sure is nice enough to be an official site  One can only dream!
