I'm debating if I want to see it next month. I can't ever sit around to watch the other musicals at WDW. Both Beauty and the Beast and Hunchback of Notre Dame (when it still existed), I maybe lasted 5 minutes before leaving. However, last year I was at Disneyland for my first time. I decided to watch the Aladdin show over at DCA and LOVED it! It was the best show!
So, because of the Aladdin show, I want to check out the Nemo show but at the same time I don’t since I normally don’t like the musicals at WDW.

I agree with this. And although I love the movie, I personally fell into the latter category. I think my biggest problem with it was it felt like it dragged on, like it would never end. I probably looked at my watch 10 times during the show. And I never do that at a Disney show. Some of the music I liked, most I did not. Not to mention it doesn't fit in Dinoland (neither did Tarzan or Jungle Book, to be fair). Sadly, I enjoyed the Finding Nemo ice show that toured the country more than I enjoyed this in Animal Kingdom.kschn3671 wrote:I think you either love it or you hate it.
I'm glad so many of you enjoy it. Just not for me, is all.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that the Theater In The Wild (the theater where these shows played/are playing) is really considered part of Dinoland. it sits off to the side away from all the Dinoland stuff, right on the path from Dinoland to Asia.Donalds1Fan wrote: Not to mention it doesn't fit in Dinoland (neither did Tarzan or Jungle Book, to be fair).

I think Theater in the Wild is really just it's own entity.
I just got back (
) from a trip to WDW and normally don't watch shows, but I watched this and LOVED it
I also watched Beauty and the Beast for the first time and loathed it. I thought it was neat they actually created the music for the show and thought they did a pretty good job too. The only part I really didn't like was the whole "Just keep swimming" part...yech. I thought the talent of the performers was incredibly - I don't believe it was lip synched although the audio cut out at one point and they were still singing, I think it was just the mic and we couldn't hear them anymore. Regardless even if they are lip synching that's still a talent to be able to do that while operating their puppets and acting themselves. I teared up a little bit in the "That's my Dad" song too...
I just got back (

they def do NOT lip sync. i have been to this show many times and have seen many different performers for each characters. some are better than others, and each one does things a little different but you can tell for sure there is no lip syncing invloved. next time you go, try to get a seat up close. it makes for a better show and you can hear the chorus better.
yodiwan- my fiancee and i will also get into finding nemo the musical moods and start singing the songs at random!!!

It is separate from the other parts of Dinoland, but Disney says on the maps that the theater is part of Dinoland and that the show is a Dinoland attraction.js3901 wrote:I could be wrong, but I don't think that the Theater In The Wild (the theater where these shows played/are playing) is really considered part of Dinoland. it sits off to the side away from all the Dinoland stuff, right on the path from Dinoland to Asia.Donalds1Fan wrote: Not to mention it doesn't fit in Dinoland (neither did Tarzan or Jungle Book, to be fair).
Not something I lose sleep over, but annoying to me nonetheless.

First I dont like the music but the stage and the lights and basically everyting else is amazing. Second, did you ever wonder why there was a dragon head over one of the ticket booths, or a dragon in the logo? The stage was originally going to be for a mythical creatures show. The creatures cost too much to build so they used it for the jungle book and tarzan shows and the current finding nemo show.

I thought that there was actually an entire "land" that was axed called "Beastly Kingdom"? It was just one attraction?Son of Dreamfinder wrote:First I dont like the music but the stage and the lights and basically everyting else is amazing.
