Disney World Monorail Sets
I'm so bummed that I missed an ebay auction today and someone snagged it right from me! I wasn't quick enough! I had a seller willing to offer me a buy it now for the MGM retired hat set and someone grabbed it before me.
Does anyone know of anywhere else where I can get Monorail sets besides ebay?
So far I have the Castle, Tree of Life, Green Monorail Set, Dumbo set, Contemporary, Train Station, and the retired Space ship earth where the monorail goes under.
If anyone knows of any other sets that are available please do let me know.
I want to set up Disney World for my son for Christmas. When we were in Disney World all he wanted was the Contemporary Resort and I wouldn't let him get it due to the size and the airlines.

Thanks! I've contacted them a few times about some sets but the ones that I want are retired. They do have the new spaceship earth playset and it is going for about $40. I wonder why Disney doesn't offer more of these sets for collectors? The ride sets are so cool and when the monorail rides past them it activates the rides. I'm hoping my son really likes this because I'll probably be up all night setting it up and playing with it! Good Luck!

I think I have the best parents. Every year that we go, we always buy the monorail playset. So far, from what I understand I have every WDW color made and Monorail Blue from Disneyland. I have the Contemporary, original SSE, TTC, and the signs. Now for some pictures... http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/ ... %20System/
As far as locating a place to get the monorail sets I have no idea. I was looking for a monorail purple since mine broke. However, I couldn't find any so I ended up rewiring it to make it work again. I know Green is the current color and Blue was the color for 2006/2007. 2005's was Gold, 2004's was Purple, 2003 was Yellow, 2001-2002 had Red and Black. Last time I checked the store in NYC still had some Blue ones hanging around. Hope this helps!

for the older, retired sets, best I could say is something like ebay or craigslist. just keep in mind that with those sites (or any like them), you're getting what you pay for (meaning sold as-is), so some things may not work properly...
