Here's something my DW showed me at the RFC. If the line is long, go to the back and get a table on the deck. There's usually not a very long line. About the food, well I'm just glad my boy's have grow to teenagers! OY!

I actually had the chance to eat at T-Rex while on vacation 2 weeks ago and we were impressed! We already knew we wanted to go, so we left the park early and got to the restaurant around 6pm. We checked in and were sent right in to be seated. I'd already read a review and was determined to sit in the "Ice Cave". There are 6 different themed dining rooms and I thought that the Ice Cave was by far the coolest (no pun!). The walls look like thick layers of ice and are backlit with a blue LED type light that occasionally changes to purple and red. I thought it was really neat, but my SO didn't like how the changing light felt to his eyes. There are archways around the room, so you can see into the other dining rooms. Like the storms at RFC, there is a meteor shower every 15 minutes. The theming is above and beyond that of RFC.

I had the mushroom ravioli and my SO had the lasagna. Both dishes were delicious! We also both had the tomato basil soup, which was very good. The whole meal cost us about $50 with sodas (no alcohol). The food was very good quality and the portions were huge!

We're going to the T Rex next Saturday. None of the food at WDW is anything to write home about. We're not expecting fantastic food but the 7 yo boy in our group will love it!

We want to try this in June. I hope they are taking reservations by then! It sounds and looks so neat from all the photos that I have seen online!

The food doesn't look very appealing to me, but I'll certainly take a walk through the place next time I visit. Those pictures look pretty nice.

WOW $50 for two of you! That will cost my family of 6 $150! Darn I wanted to take my youngest son there cause he loves stuff like that.
Trying is an excuse to fail! Just go and do it!

^grumpy, I'd take note of the huge portion sizes - if you split meals I'd bet the cost could be brought down a lot! Oh, and maybe you could just go for dessert?

Personally, I can't wait to stop in and see the decor, though I doubt we'll be getting any of the food.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.
