This happens to you in the parks?

Irony is only funny when there are others to share it with. In this case I would have mentioned that fact to them.

I'll add my 2 cents. I had a few experiences in the past 2 trips that drove me nuts.
First of all, there was a woman gabbing on her cell phone as we walked the Pangani Forest Trail in the AK. She was loud and obnoxious and even though we lingered to let her get far ahead of us, we could hear all about her cheatin' sister-in law in Jersey. I was steaming, not only because it was hot, but because she was so rude. PLEASE people don't chat on your cell phones in inappropriate places!

Next, we were waiting in a bus line from the AK to the AK Lodge for dinner at Boma. We had just missed the previous bus, so we were the 2nd family in line at the queue . We were standing and waiting at least 15 minutes and the line was long behind us, folks were hot and tired . When the bus finally arrived, a woman and her son came from the side and pushed in front of my son. Not having that - I pointed to the end of the line. She said she and her kid were sitting on the bench to wait for the bus and had arrived before us. I said everyone else had to stand and wait and she wasn't cutting in front of us. She actually calle me a b****. (BTW - the kid was a teenager and not handicapped or anything.)

This next event I actually have on video tape. It was this past November during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. My boys and I had lined up very early for the last parade and were sitting right on the curb so I could film. As parade time came closer, people just walked right in front of us and pushed in front as the rope was being set up by the CM's. They actually stood in front of us sitting and didn't even flinch as I told them that we had been waiting and they were blocking my view. Merry Christmas indeed.

The last bit of my rant is this: My sons are teenagers and we enjoy our dinners at the Disney Restaurants very much. We plan ahead and make our ADR's for late in the evening. For us the meals are as much a part of the Disney Experience as the attractions. Anyway, I cannot handle folks coming into the restaurants late with small children and babies and letting them either run around, crawl all over the table or floor or cry/whine. I have brought my boys to WDW since the youngest was 6 months old and I'd never bring them to a sit down restaurant past 5pm. If it were late, we'd either eat at counter service or go back to the room. I have also used the in-room baby sitting and it was awesome!

Ok long rant over.
Have a magical day! :)

I agree. But you forgot littering. Come on there is a garbage can every 5 feet.

You know, I have always said, "Disneyland is a place I never litter because I KNOW there will be a trashcan very soon"

Litter makes me so cross  One night in MK we couldn't hear the 'Kiss Goodnight' because the CM's were busy with their huge vacuum cleaners getting rid of the rubbish left behind by lazy ignorant guests.

One very relaxing morning at AKL, sitting on my balcony about 7am, watching the animals grazing, enjoying the peace and quiet..... Not for long, this extremely loud lady woke up the entire resorts guests with 'Oh my Goodness, aren't you beautiful? Look honey, he's lookin' right at me!'. With a voice that loud the animal was so startled it had to look where the cacophony was coming from.

People who moan:

because they aren't near the bus stops/eateries in their resorts and then on the other side of the coin the people who moan because they are too close and it's too noisy!

about how bad the Disney transportation is, when it's FREE!!!!

children making a noise, it's DISNEY FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!! They are excited.

:x

Chewing gum!!!!!!!!

People who smoke where they shouldn't!!

People who don't use trash cans!

Guests who are rude to cast members for no apparent reason, as they know they can't fight back!

And last of all why are the Value Resort Bus Stops the furthest away at the parks? This has always puzzled me.

Last time I went to Disneyland I saw two cups on the side of main street. There was a trash can two or three feet in front of those cups someone hd left. That is so sad and rediculous.

1. Line Cutters
2. People stopping in a doorway or the middle of a walkway
3. people that try to stand in front of you just as the parade is coming after you have been waiting patiently for 30 minutes because you have the brains to figure out that you have to scope out a good seat ahead of time. I mean really people are so RUDE!
4. Foriegners who hit my kids repeatedly with their stroller. I'm usually an easy going, non confrontational person, but I was about to commit murder in the first degree the day this happened while waiting in line for a character signature in the entrance plaza at the Animal Kingdom. When I asked him not to hit my kid with the stroller, he looked at me with a dumbfounded grin on his face and did it again...... thats when my wife saw my face clued the character handler in to what was happening and they stopped what was going to be a very bad scene!.........Thank god for those amazing cast members! they really do have the patience of saints!

My biggest pet peeve, is when people try to compare WDW to Universal Studios Orlando. I mean it's like comparing apples to a big steaming pile of poo (not that I am biased or anything).
They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

People who stop in the middle of the walkway to decide what to do.
This is my biggest pet peeve. But my other one are parents who can not control their kids, and just let them run around in stores and such. I know it's Disney but some control would be great!

I'd say my biggest pet peeve involves the fireworks, namely Illuminations. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else before, but this has happened to us a twice, once in 2006 and again this year. You know how some of the wide pathways in view of the fireworks have a bench on one side? And then on the opposite side, about 8 or so feet away is a railing by the lake where people stand up against it to see the fireworks. I think this was in the Italy and Germany areas, but I can't remember for sure.

So, a few of us are at the railings, waiting for the show. Then people come and sit on the benches behind us, and eventually more people start to fill in at the railing (again, a good 8 or so feet gap away from the bench). Lo and behold the people start yelling that their view is blocked and how dare anyone stand in front of them because they want to sit to see. Happened twice, with two different groups doing the yelling. And they were adults, not children or teens. They're clear on the other side of the sidewalk, and they expect no one to stand at the rail? So they can sit on a bench? Honestly.

This one I just learned about from a friend of mine.

When a guest goes on vacation, something goes wrong, Disney compensates them for it, then guest goes home and posts the names of the managers who gave them the compensation, telling other guests to go to this person for money or whatever.

Give me a break.

And the blackest 'art wears the broadest smile."

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

Wow seriously that's lame! I wonder what happened in December I of 2005 when the Christmas tree at the Grand Californian Hotel caught on fire between 2 and 3 in the morning and the entire hotel was evacuated! I came into work at Disney the next day hearing this story.

Another pet peeve taking flash pictures on an attraction or people making out on HM! I understand it's dark and you think no one can see you, but seriously!
