I agree with you sunny34 so much. Although, since we have had to cancel our trip for August due to personal reasons and not know when we are going to be able to go again, :( it is hard for me to listen without feeling sad & depressed. But, I still keep listening, guess it is addictive.

I'm right there with you.. we always go in December but this year we are having a baby instead. Which is wonderful.. however I'm already having withdrawals..lol. And listening to this makes me miss it even more.. but I'm addicted and still log on here everyday. :mickey:

Congrats sunny34 on your baby. Wish you & your family all the best. May he/she grow up to love Disney as much as all of us do.

just listening every day makes me happy. since growing up and going to disneyland 3-4 times a year, every year - disney music is inherant in my tgenetic makeup! I'm so thankful for this site and the chance to re-live all the special moments.
We leave for WDW next Tuesday and I can't wait to hear everything LIVE!

Have a great trip and enjoy every minute of it. It is a great feeling walking all around the parks knowing all of the music and even singing along to it. I know I did it.

Right now I have gotten my iphone wired to my car so whenever I drive I get to hear some great Disney music. I got to hear wishes yesterday and had a nice flashback to standing behind the castle and watching the fireworks to my left and fireworks to my right. I definitely recommend doing this if you are ever in the park for wishes and don't plan on standing on main street. It is truly a great experience.

I cried just now, but it isn't exactly a Disney track.... It's the instrumental of Rainbow Connection that you hear on the inside waiting for Muppet*Vision. I love that song for personal reasons.... But, I suppose, I'm glad nothing else does yet, I listen to this at work and would probably get stares if I start crying for no apparent reason.

I agree, I love listening to Disney music from the parks. The instrumental ones with the area music are a lot of memories. Since I live in the central florida area and grew up there :mickey: literally because as a kid my parents always got season passes so spent so much time there and the area music was always the first and last things I heard at the parks. If some of you don't know you can get the rides with actual ride troughs on DVD and music on CD. I have 20 DVDs lol I'm a junkie. But I found Subsonic first and always come back here. But I had to reregister today because I forgot my e-mail address i originally used.

One song in particular that gets me every time is Magic Journeys.
"Please stand clear of the doors/Por favor mantengan se alejado de las puertas"

It's a tribute to the imagineers.... that so many people would be touched and amazed by WDW (for me, especially in the early years) and now SSR serves up the music and memories 24/7

How lucky can we get?
This says it all!!

I thing I play resort TV the most (that and Vacation Planer), It's one of my favorites. When staying on property I don't think I've ever get a chance to see it all the way through.

I love Wilderness Lodge. It's my happy place. But it's also a very expensive happy place, so I've only stayed there twice. So getting to hear one of the music tracks on here earlier tonight did make me tear up a bit.

The end of the Illuminations music makes me teary every time I hear it too. Same goes for Wishes.

The entire Soarin' channel makes me tear up. Whenever they stream the tracks from "Steel Magnolias (Suite)," "Apollo 13 (The Launch)," and "The Rescuers Down Under (Cody's Flight)" I am taken back to 11/5/05, at 8:30pm, when I first rode Soarin' with my dad. We stood in line for TWO AND A HALF hours before finally getting to ride. Those three were part of the loop playing in line and hearing them brings me back to that night when I first experienced what is now the most important and treasured part of WDW for me.

You remember the date and time you first rode Soarin'? Wow! I am impressed! I can't even tell you what days I was in WDW except for my most recent trip. Then again, I'm old, LOL!

That is scary that you remember such fine details like that. I couldn't even tell you what day of my most recent trip I rode any attraction. I will admit that the entire Soarin' ride track does make me a little saddened since it really takes me back to being there.

Another GREAT track that could cause some moisture in the eyes is the finale music to Fantasmic. I just thoroughly enjoy the ending to Fantasmic, it gives you a great feeling that reminds you how special Disney is.
