Halloween

Post by packwingfn » Nov Sat 01, 2008 5:49 pm

I just had a wonderful Halloween with my friends. I was curious to see how everyone else's Halloween was yesterday. How many people dressed up and if so, as what?

I had to work 3-8 and I work in the Dairy Department of a Supermarket so I dressed up as a cow, I got a lot of smiles and laughs throughout the day, then at night, I wore a toga, with an afro, and nerdy glasses.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

I didn't dress up this year but I just painted my face white, used black lipstick and fake blood to dress up as a dead hockey fan to fit the mood. I was watching the Ducks game while I was passing out candy. Maybe next year I'll dress up but I haven't done it since I was in my senior year and I'm almost 21.

Didn't dress up as I had to work all night and my work isn't into 'fun' like that, but I did bring a little battery-powered jack o' lantern to keep us company. My coworkers seemed to like that.

If I get another Halloween night off again ever , I'd like to do the dress up thing again. I miss doing that.

My Halloween wasn't too bad, my work allows us to dress up if we don't work in Administration, which of course I do. But it was really busy in my neighborhood last night, last year we had four kids stop by. Last night we had 34. Good thing I bought a lot of candy, too bad there isn't much left for me.

My Halloween was fantastic. We live in a rural community, so my husband and I took our kids to my niece's house, since she lives in a subdivision. They had a great time trick or treating. The weather was unbelievably warm (high 68, at night in the 50's), so no winter coats over the costumes (which is the norm in Michigan).
Another year down...how quickly time flies. I hope everyone else had a great Halloween too!!

O.O 34 is nothing compared to how many kids came to my house....my mom bought over 900 pieces of candy and it was gone by 7 (and each kid only gets one piece)

My parents are the same way. They live on a main road in a small community in East Tennessee, so EVERYONE passes their house when making the circuit.
