This Sept will be our longest stay at WDW (7days/6nights) and it's just not long enough to get in everything my kids want to do. (Ok, goes for me too, but it sounds better to blame it on them.) So I voted 2 weeks. For myself I don't see getting tire of being there that long and the nice thing is that then we could take our time and really see all the detail that goes into makeing it "Disney".

Ok, I voted for "forever" but seriously I think 2 weeks would be great! The longest we've ever stayed was 8 nights and it was a bit too short. We don't like to miss the parks but it's nice to have days in between to just relax at the resort. Especially if you stay at a deluxe, like the Poly, it's great to enjoy what the resort has to offer and take everything in. :)

I would say 1.5 weeks. I think it is just the perfect amount of time since you feel exhausted and rushed after a week, but 2 weeks is just overkill. That makes 1.5 weeks perfect for me.

1.5 weeks at wdw give you enough time to explore the parks and also have some much needed re-charge time, much longer than that & i would be ready to go home, don't want too much of a good thing to spoil the magic

i wonder if there are any former cast members that still go back regularly, and if they feel it is a special place for them....hmm?
My son's god parents are both former CM's and still visit from the UK at least twice a year for at least two weeks. The magic never fades for them. I voted 'forever' but, in reality 4 weeks would be just about right for us. We normally do 14 nights/15 days and always at a Disney Resort (never long enough). We (husband and myself) love AKL for the peace and tranquility. My kids however, love the value resorts because of the theming!

We've usually done an average of 4 nights/trip...In November we'll be gone for 10 nights! I think about 10-14 days is probably just about right :D

the longest i stayed was in 98 - my family and i stayed for 46 day at the grand floridian, castle view. i wish i could remember the trip though, i was only 5.

i do know that 46 days seems like alot for a disney trip, but you can never have enough disney and besides our family is large and we needed time for stops and the babies always needed to be changed. it was fun though, you can just stop and relax and take as long as you want to explore the parks and the grounds. i loved it!

Wow... does your family want to adopt me or send some of the cash for that type of stay my way!

We stay for 2 weeks by default and it's never long enough. I'd like 3 weeks followed by a week on a Disney cruise :mickey: :mickey:
1980, 2000, 2005 and 2008 all had plenty of magic. Hoping for a bit more in 2010.

We usually do two weeks, but I think three weeks would be just the right amount. You could have a few days of doing each thing but I think after 3 weeks I would start missing my friends, my family, and my house.

I think that 1.5 to 2 weeks would be perfect. Enough time to get everything in at the parks and still spend a few days at the pool and water parks. So when we going!

We stayed for 12 days last year. Some of our relatives originally planned on joining us for six days, and we wanted some time to enjoy our vacation alone. When they had to cancel, we got ten wonderful days to ourselves (although it would have been nice to have family there for a few days). 10 day park hoppers are the most economical way to go; after 10 days, the price per day goes back up. So, we took two days to relax and check out other resorts, and had 10 days in the parks-it was great!
One little spark of inspiration is at the heart of all creation!

I'd love to stay 2 weeks. The longest I've ever stayed was 8 full days, and that was this year. 2 weeks would allow for extra time in case anyone gets really sick (as happened to someone I went with this year), in case a ride is broken down, etc. Plus you wouldn't have to bounce back and forth amongst the parks like a jackrabbit.

We usually stay 6 or 7 days, and we never have enough time to see everything we want to in the parks, play mini-golf, really take our time going through DTD, go parasailing, take a tour, etc. Always run out of time.
