What song do you dread seeing in the Queue/Coming Up list?

I cant really get into anything from Disneyland as ive never been there (yet). So its hard for me to appreciate as much because i have no feelings or memories tied to it.
China area full loop is on now. I requested a song seconds too late, so now i have to wait til this whole half an hour is over just to hear my like 2 minute song! i think that gets annoying sometimes.

That's an interesting point. I've only been to WDW a couple of times, and aside from the more popular attractions, I can't really connect to the loops and area music. It's still fun to listen to new and lesser known tracks though.DisneyObsessive wrote:I cant really get into anything from Disneyland as ive never been there (yet). I agree. I haven't been to Disneyland yet either, so when I listen to the Disneyland songs and loops, it is very different from listening to the Walt Disney World ones, becaue I can recoganize and relate to them, where as with the Disneyland, I'm only hearing them for the first time. Even though, I still enjoy listening to them.

I grew up teething on DL so I can relate to it specifically, and at age 47 that's a lot of DL
I can't relate to all the loops and areas in WDW, it's been soooo long since I was there last. I like the music from the Tree of Life area, though I have never been there, I just love the music. I request things that I have heard before in DL or that someone else requested and I liked it, even though I could not relate to it in the parks. Now when I do make it to WDW I can have references from this site and I will go "OH I KNOW THIS ONE!!"

Heh, that's one of the great things about this website. You can listen to all the requested songs from Walt Disney World and DL, and then when you finally get to the parks, you can keep your ears open for the songs playing around you, and just shout "I KNOW THIS SONG!" I will definitely be doing that on my next trip. And I agree about the Tree of Life music, I love it too
. But, of course, it's much better when you're actually standing in front of the Tree of Life.

all of the tree of life music i love to request. i think its so great. The last time i was there was in July of 2004, so it hasnt been too long for me, and i highly enjoy the area music.
I'm not particularly fond of the ride throughs which i notice a lot of people request. They sort of bore me, especially since im just listening to whats happening and don't have video for it or anything. It makes me feel sort of lost...

Yeah, the Tree of Life music is great. And a lot of people request it, so it is always playing, which is very good.
I've never had a problem with listening to the rides. I enjoy it, because when I listen to it, it brings me back and I go through the ride in my head, and then I'm happy.

It's tough to figure out what to do about long tracks. I've thought about splitting them up. Maybe I'll get around to it.

You know I also love the long tracks, subsonic. Please don't split them! I can just close my eyes and get lost in those area music loops, forgetting all about work piling up on my desk.subsonic wrote:It's tough to figure out what to do about long tracks. The long tracks are great if you have something in your subconcious to reference them to, otherwise, tune it out, turn it down, go out for coffee
that's what I do if it's not one that tingles the psyche for me. Like Figment that is on right now.......I am going to Starbucks, will be back in a few.....tootles!

Good; it looks like I misssed that track. Long tracks are also good for background noise, when you can't stand it being so quiet.

Yeah I left the room for Figment hehe. And please don't cut the long tracks. I enjoy listening to them. And I agree, the long tracks are good for background noise.

That's what I do, when a see a track coming up on the que that I don't particularly like to listen to (Michael Jackson), I know that's the time I take a break, grab coffee, etc. too!
