My family & I are taking a last minute trip to Disneyland this week. We are going on Thurs & Fri and were wondering what the crowds will be like. We are assuming that it probably won't be that crowded as schools are still in and there are no major holidays. Also, does anyone know what the weather may be like?

Weather's supposed to be Sunny in the low 80's. It's off season, attendance will be moderate, not very crowded.

We went during the second week of October in 2006. The weather was awesome because it was warm during the day and cold at night so you got to wear your cute new Disneyland sweaters. There was also some rain showers but I enjoyed those too. As for the crowds, the weekend was so crowded it was unreal. All the locals come to experience the Halloween celebration so prepare yourself for that. That's how it was that year anyway.

I also went in the second week of October 2006.
and the weather was nice and sunny with little to no rain. The nights do get a little cold but not too much. As for the crowds, the park was not crowded at all during the weekdays but the weekends do get a little crowded. When I look back on that trip I think October is the best time to go because of the decorations and little attendance.

Thursday won't be so bad since there will be kids still in school (even if some parents drag their kids out or whatever their school schedules are like) so you'll be okay there. Friday shouldn't be too bad but it could get cold in the evening so store a jacket/coat in the lockers. Other than that, have fun!

October is a really good month to go. The weather is iffy, as the rainy season can run into the beginning of the month. I went in October about ten years ago and it rained the whole time, but normally it's not an issue.

I guess you're there now, but BEWARE it's UEA (fall break) for Utah schools - also known as "Utah's Exodus to Anaheim".
I just went last Friday (the 10th) Crowds were low, weather was perfect!! I LOVE Disneyland in the fall!

I went Monday night (after my previous post) and it was raining almost the whole time. 80 degrees and raining. Sticky and gross. I thought that we left that behind in September.

Well, I live up in Valencia, about 40 miles North of DL. It was a gorgeous day, hope attendance was low for you guys.

There is something to be said for rainy days in Disneyland - rain sure does drive the crowds away, lol

I had the best time ever on a rainy day at DL. The only guests there were tourists who couldn't change travel itineraries. We walked onto everything...twice.

I went Wednesday Oct. 15th and it was slightly more crowded than I was expecting but it still wasn't too bad. Longest wait was prolly 25 mins on Soarin' or 20 mins on Space Mountain.

Oh how we miss DL in Oct, small crowds, short lines, some counter food service closed and all the Halloween decorations. Hope you all enjoyed the trips.
Trying is an excuse to fail! Just go and do it!
