Is this the reason they took Jim Henson's name off of all the Muppet*Vision stuff? I persoanlly think that's kind of mean, unless there was some legal issue.

The only thing I ask is please give Miss Piggy HRT or Vitamin B6 to calm her down. Or in this politically correct time, anger management classes

I HATED Miss Piggy when I was a kid. Especially on Muppet Babies. I always wanted Nanny to give her a swift kick in the pants.

Did they really take his name off of it? I didn't even notice it even though I always use his name before I say "the Muppets". I hope that's not the case, though.

I would guess it had something to do with the length of time after they'd purchased it? Like, maybe they were only obligated to display it for a certain number of years or something. I know that the Henson family recently donated all of the stuff Disney didn't buy to the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta; they're going to build a museum there.

Good, I would much rather visit a muppet museum than the coke museum in Atlanta.

I'm looking forward to it myself, if for no other reason than I've been asking to go to the center since we moved here and my husband makes the best  face every time. Muppets'd get him over there.

Well that all sounds very cool. I would love to see more muppets. Its my favorite part of MGM. Rumors has it that Mama Melrose was originally going to have muppet character meals. Also as a fun WDW/Muppets fact although WD did buy the Muppets the deal did not include Sesame Street or Fraggle Rock. So we won't be seeing an increase in those characters around the park. But I would love to see more muppets. They hardly sell any muppet stuff in the store anymore, like they did so many years ago.

How do you do muppet character meals? Full out fur-character type costumes? Because they couldn't do puppets.......right?

I am so glad to hear this. There is a rumor going around DCA that the Muppet Vision 3-D is going away. I hope this means that they are putting in a new movie and not taking it out completely. Or that the rumor is just all around false.

If they do it, then it would be fur-character-type of costumes. Think of Sweedums from Muppet Vision 3-D when he comes out into the audience in his costume. It would probably be like that if they ever did do a muppet character meal thing.

The rumor about Muppet 3-D vision being razed is still thankfully a rumor. But it still is a strong rumor. I fear for this scenario because to me it sounds like a dumb idea. Eliminate one of two attractions that deal with the Muppets and then market the heck out of them......yeah that sounds like a logical solution. Granted this is still just a rumor but if it were to happen I could see the scenario of the Muppets being marketed and them becoming BIG again and guests wonder why there isn't a Muppets attraction.....hmmm
