A lot of this stuff is locked up in my head...If I do have photos they are probably buried somewhere over Mom and Dad's..Those old shots of EPCOT and Tomorrowland ROCK! Brings back a lot of memories.

I wish Millenium Village was still around. There was some great stuff in there!

We are posting things that no longer exist.

And on a side note, I noticed the DisneyLand crowd has begun their own picture match thread. I look forward to seeing all the different pictures coming from our West Coast cousins.

Also, boilerbabe, I was born about 40 minutes from you in La Porte.

JS391, where is that picture taken? I don't recall ever seeing that overpass. Yet again, I am usually at an Epcot resort so the only big MGM sign I know of is the one over the Ticket area.

If I remember correctly, it has been a while since I have driven from the West into the parks you drive through it off World Drive and drive over it exiting off the Osceola Parkway onto World Drive. I maybe wrong, it has been many years since I have driven into the Magic Kingdom or MGM from that direction.

I'm pretty sure agingerbugg is correct. It's been a long time since driving there myself, but I believe the directions are sound...

Okay, there are a few things in this picture that no longer exist, for one the uninterupted view of SSE from this locale, the second is the bluey glowing thing the man is looking at in the lower left corner. I am not sure what it is, if anyone can tell me, I would appreciate it. I am sure it is an informational plaque or something similar.

I believe that's the original plexi-glass dedication plaque... Ironically enough, there's a close-up picture of it on flickr, but the photographer comments that he didn't remember exactly where it was located. It's the same as the one that's currently at the entrance to the park except it's clear plexiglass, and it starts with "EPCOT Center" rather than the new one which begins "Epcot".

edit: might as well give links now that I mentioned it haha
