I can't imagine waiting around for 2 hours plus in a queue. I guess like most Americans, I want it fast and want it 10 minutes ago. I think the longest one that I ever bit the bullet on was Splash Mountain in WDW when the line started somewhere before that little bridge where everyone watches people come down from the top of the mountain. It may have been pre-fast pass as well

Re: Longest queue wait
Test Track when it first opened over an hour. We stood in Islands of Adventure for a ride once for 75 minutes only to get so close and have the ride break down. We were all turned away and about 15 minutes later it reopened after we were all chased out of line with no returns back then. This happened to us twice and I have the feeling that I never want to go back to that park again.AKLRULZ wrote:What is the longest amount of time you've stood in a queue line at Disney for an attraction and would you do it again?

I went to Florida for a two week holiday at the beginning of July, It was empty, the longest we queued for was 30 minutes but most things we walked onto or had 10 minute wait, couldnt believe. Other times when we had gone we queued for 30 minutes minimum.
One time queued an hour for test track and then got to the front of the queue and it broke down.

The longest I waited in a Disney line is about 1 hour 30 minutes for Space Mountian and Splash Mountian pre Fast Pass Days. Waited a long time for Indiana Jones in 2005 as well. But by far the longest line I have stood in was for Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls. In five trips over 7 years I have spent nearly 8 hours in that stupid line and have yet to ride the ride. Talk about Test Track breaking down, been there, but they eventually get it runnig. Thank Walt's ghost for Fast Pass.

Dudley Ripsaw Falls is awful with its queing. Luckily this year when we went for our holiday all the parks were empty and we literally walked onto it.bigiver wrote:The longest I waited in a Disney line is about 1 hour 30 minutes for Space Mountian and Splash Mountian pre Fast Pass Days. we went at the beginning of December 2006, and the wait for PPF was at about 30 minutes at the busiest times. Soarin was at about 40 minutes standby...
so, christmas time is not a BAD time to go, you just have to go early enough in the season to miss the crowds. the time between the week after Thanksgiving until the week before Christmas is one of the slowest times of the year...

I must say that I'm spoiled because I don't really remember waiting for anything on my first trip when I was 10, but I'm of the fastpass age and I usually fastpass and go at rope drop so the most I have waited for something is about 30 minutes more than that I'm like no way jose!!!
