I like the idea of combining the movies into one ride. I mean, really, the Star Wars "universe" is so freaking huge. You could do so much with it to appeal to EVERYONE.
I also like the 4-D idea...except then you wouldn't really be "in" a spaceship. But 4-D is probably one my new favorite theme park innovations.

I do agree it is time for Star Tours to be updated.
The video is grainy and boring. When you can go onto a "thrill" ride and not be thrilled, then it is time for a change.

Are we there yet? When can we go back?
I don't know what's worse, the anticipation of going or the withdrawals after getting home.

A randomizer would be a nice addition. It would help the re-ride factor.
Of course I would also like to see some technical advances on the ride and not just a new movie that can be randomized. The rumor mill has been quiet on ST for a while. Lets hope they don't push it off any longer.

This is one attraction that I really would not mind seeing updated. I normally a purist when it comes to Disney but this ride could be so much more than it is now. Even updating the movie to something more current would be a nice change. Something on the scale of Imax would put it up there with Soarin and that type of ride mechanism would work well for Star Tours I think.

The randomizer is interesting and really works for TOT because you will go up and you will come down, you just don't know when. I'm not sure it would work so well for a movie because you could keep randomly getting the same one everytime you ride. Of course it worked for Clue. I guess it could work for Disney.
