Being a little older, I wouldn't really classify Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, or any of the 1990's Disney Channel shows to be "classic" Disney TV shows.
When I think of "classic" Disney TV, I think of Davy Crockett, The original Mickey Mouse Club (with Annette), Zorro, and of course The Wonderful World of Disney (in color!) on Sunday nights.
Would I want a channel to re-live all of those old shows? Sure! Would it make enough money to survive? Absolutely not.
I remember Disney stuff on UK tv being a 'special treat'. Disney seemed to be that extra bit magical when we only had snippets in school holidays, bank holidays and of course Christmas.
Kids these days (god I sound like my gran) have many, many channels to watch and the magic is being lost slightly. Bring back the old Disney stuff pre 1980's and let them see what Disney was really about, and not just love sick kids who burst into song, or kids who are indulged living in a hotel, or a girl who lives a secret double life, I could go on for ages.
Please Disney give me back some of my childhood PLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAASE

Okay, say the new Disney Channel does not happen. Well, DVRs are very popular. I say just program Midnight to 5am with "Vault Disney" and let the adults program their DVRs to catch those non-tween programs.
I would favor more mid-1980s and earlier programs and films.

I really do miss the old cartoons of Donald and Goofy.

I would love to see them again on TV even if there wasn't enough of all the classic cartoons to create a whole station, it would be awesome to at least have a classic hour.

Yeah, I'm getting pretty sick of only seeing Hannah Montana, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and whatever other crappy shows Disney plays nonstop now.

Yes, please! I don't get the Disney Channel, but would have to invest if the wonderful classics were on. For now I just have to save up to purchase some of the DVDs.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

When staying in Disney property Mousekeeping showed us a channel on the TV that plays a loop of Classic Disney Cartoons. If I remember rightly it was No 90 something. Great if you're staying at WDW but I missed it when I got home.

that 1 person probably thought that "A Disney channel" meant "THE Disney channel" or something along those lines. or, maybe they're just not a fan of the classic stuff...

I saw last night that on the Disney Channel tonight at 5pm EST they are going to have Alice In Wonderland on. It's their Big Movie Show of the day. Why they start these movies at 5pm, I have no idea, other than it must be to keep the kids occupied while dinner is being made. I wish they would start them at 6pm cause I get home around 6:10pm and would be able to watch most of it

it's all about me after all...ha ha ha

When I was in college a group of us would rush home so we could watch Duck Tales, Tailspin, Chip and Dales Rescue Rangers, and Darkwing Duck. I would love to see them back on TV. Before reading this tread I wasn't sure whether they were considered CLASSICS.

A Vault Disney Channel would ruin my life in a good way. The intro was awesome. I'd watch Zorro (please release on DVD!) and then fall asleep to Walt Disney's voice on the Disneyland specials, which started around 1:30 I believe, and then get up for school at 6:00am.
They could do a combo channel with the classic "Disney Afternoon" shows (Duck Tales, Tale Spin, Gummi Bears, etc.) on during the day time for kids and then switch to Classic Disney during the afternoon / primtime. I'm sure people would still love to sit down and watch Walt Disney Presents after dinner time. My family did it in the 80s.
Actually the Disney version of Zorro is out on DVD. Found it on a search of Amazon.com.

I'd love a Disney Channel like that. Not long after my cable company started carrying the Disney Channel, they got rid of all of the "good" shows they used to play. How disappointing.
I'd love to see the old cartoons from the 30s, 40s, etc., the original MMC shows, etc. The Disney Treasures DVDs are a good way to see a lot of this stuff, but it's not the same, sadly. I miss DuckTales, too. That was one of my favorite shows growing up.

I miss all the late night original cartoon shows. All the Donald Duck cartoons were some of my favorite. The chip and dale one where Donald works in what was it a big walnut. Or the one with the train and Donald! Or the one with the bears and they had to pick up trash at the state park! Ah Classic, bring them back Disney bring them back!
